Couldn't have said it better myself. I just fight with logs more often than people, fighting knives just aren't for me.Eh... He's not trying to improve the function of a BK-9. He's changed the function to a fighting knife. The POU has changed. he removed length and weight making it faster in hand, and changed the tip for a better stab. He's improved the knife in it's new function, but it'd lost effectiveness in it's old function. Less weight means it can't chop as well, etc.

You going to patina the blade? Mirror shine it? Nice scales btw. I'd have to see how they feel in hand cause they may have some hot spots. Then again, it's not a heavy use knife anymore so it's not as important![]()
