So just to recap:
-reground the tip to a sharpened clip point
-reshaped the pommel
-removed thumb ramp and added jimping
-machined a fuller in the blade
-added micarta scales that I reshaped also
-convexed the edge
-painted under the scales for rust resistance
-cold blue finish that I buffed with steel wool
-lime green scale liners (I'll try and show these in the pics in the sunlight)
-stainless hardware
Anyway, it was a fun project. Should be a good user.....now I just need a sheath! I'm thinking drop leg dangler in some nice thick cowhide.
Damn dude that is nice! Can I send you mine to do that to?That is just plane cool!!
Those liners look great. I think its purrrfect. Absolutely stunning.
You in the mood to make me a sheath?
If that's all it takes, hell yeah.
