My BK9 Fighter...in progress... UPDATE Pg. 4 & 5

That looks excellent. Some very fine work right there.

Alright, well here she is. I will get better pics in the sunlight tomorrow, these are in my basement under florescent lights so they aren't the best.

So just to recap:
-reground the tip to a sharpened clip point
-reshaped the pommel
-removed thumb ramp and added jimping
-machined a fuller in the blade
-added micarta scales that I reshaped also
-convexed the edge
-painted under the scales for rust resistance
-cold blue finish that I buffed with steel wool
-lime green scale liners (I'll try and show these in the pics in the sunlight)
-stainless hardware

Anyway, it was a fun project. Should be a good user.....now I just need a sheath! I'm thinking drop leg dangler in some nice thick cowhide.

H-O-L-Y C-R-A-P. absolutely stunning. My jaw just bust through the floor and is down somewhere in the basement.

Wow, that looks absolutely stunning. Like a Ka-Bar USMC fighter on speed. Now send that thing to Dubz so he can make an animation of himself drawing it from his BK-9 shoulder harness and make people run like hell. That is probably the scariest knife I've ever seen. The kind of knife that you just have to draw from concealment to send every gangbanger, mugger or whatever running to his mommy.

NICE WORK!

Thanks for the kind words guys. You'll get to see the liners here in a little while when I take some better pics. I might remove them though. The green is nice but it just didn't stand out like I was hoping it would. If I find some material that would be suitable in a red or orange I might re-do some at a later date.

Damn dude that is nice! Can I send you mine to do that to? :D That is just plane cool!!

Wow, wow, wow, wow, and wow.

Speachless.

Great work, some of the best I've seen.
