Some browsers have add-ons that will let a user tweak the appearance of pages. I use the NoSquint add-on for Firefox whenever I run into a forum whose color scheme or text size doesn't appeal to me.

Yes, for those who use Firefox you can install the NoSquint add-on to change the background color as a stopgap measure. This is an example screenshot for those who would be interested:

Towards the bottom of the page is an oval in teal that says ( + Reply to Thread )

If I click on that location, it moves the cursor to the Quick Reply box (where I am now). No reply field appears as it does on other forums.

Underneath the quick reply field there's a box that says "God Advanced" - is that what you are looking for?

I hope that this is the right place for this. I miss the "Search Within This Forum" that used to be in the upper right of the page. I used to go to the Exchange and Search within all the different sub-groups within, or I could go to,say, For Sale By Individuals and Search within that. It made finding blades I may be interested in purchasing easier to find and it also made researching through the Groups and sub-Forums much easier. I see that this is available under "Additional Options" in Advanced Search but the older way was simpler and more intuitive. I certainly hope that this can be brought back in this new version.

The search box apparently no longer shows up on forum category screens anymore. No problem though, click advanced search at the top right, click on the "Single Content Type" tab, and select all the forums you want to search in.

I don't know if this matters but when I clicked on the "Reply to Thread" button I was prompted to enter in the "Quick Reply" box instead of another page opening as with the older version.

As a stopgap measure for those "blinded by the white", you can always dim your monitor manually.

Works for me, though I have to re-brighten it to go to another web site.

Not an acceptable solution in my book, I'm working on it still

at the moment the BFC logo is missing from the upper left hand corner (pic below) but about 2 hours ago, on my iPhone, the logo was there.

You are using the VB Default style aren't you? Bottom left of the page, select the BFC Default style

I'm getting used to all the changes, but there is one area I am having trouble. In the For Sale By Individuals section, at the bottom of the page, in the Thread Display Options. If you select Sort by Last Post Time, I get a screen that says. OOPS Link Appears to be Broken. I really like the threads in last post time order. It did work for a while right after the new changes started up, but you had to select what you wanted each time you went to the for sale by individuals section. Is there any way I can make Last Post Time my default or where it goes automatically, instead of having to select it each time? I appreciate all the hard work you are doing for this up grade.

"Like" button in W&C and the other place may not be the best idea.

I'm using a 15" monitor at 1024x768 at the moment, so this may not be the case on monitors made this century. My name and title are under my avatar instead of beside of it (just mine as far as I can tell). Probably a title length issue and no biggie, but thought I'd make a note. Also things are clipping. Thread listing extras like the paperclip and "Tags" images are getting placed under titles a bit on threads with high page counts. Some stuff was clipping a bit ago in the "Profile" pages, but I can't reproduce it now. Might've been fixed already.

Quote boxes in PMs are unreadable after multiple replies back and forth. They start nesting and then end up with single letter lines after about 5 quotes.

None of it bothering me, but figured I'd let ya know. I like the new look. The title smilies are a bit on the ugly side and I have no idea what any of the new stuff is, but otherwise it looks good to me. :thumbup:

Resolution issue indeed. If we didn't have iTrader installed, it wouldn't be a problem, but it adds another tab.

I notice that some text is getting the bottom cut off, like the top line of your announcement at the top of this forum, and the title bar when you are composing a post in advanced mode.

This is while using the large print.

Edit: I just looked for the announcement that was getting clipped, and I couldn't find it again.

Hmmm. I don't seem to have that. I know I saw profile pics occasionally in the old software too even though there wasn't a placeholder and couldn't figure it out there either. Weird. No biggie really. Was just gonna add a bigger pic of Paz anyway.
