New Forum software thread. . .

will there be links on the top of the page to the forums like the old version or will navigation have to be done via the forum button?

This morning the iTrade score was listed with the join date,location, and post, but now it's gone. Will it be back?

Itrader is listed in the exchange forums only. Forum nav links is on my list after search.
 
Hated it at first, but just after going through this thread I'm already getting used to it. The main forum page could use some work though.

Good job so far Spark! I know how hard it is setting up a forum, been there, done that.
 
Oh, one more thing. Could you find a way to separate thread titles from the rest of the information a little more? Looking through thread titles seems much more cluttered and jumbled together than before. Having the details right underneath the thread title really makes things hard to navigate, as well as the large images to the left of the titles.

Something like this maybe?

I did notice a problem you may be aware of. When I hit the home button I get this:

Liveitloud, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

Log Out Home
 
I am seeing a big advertisement on the right side of this screen http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/forum.php
and I am logged in.

I am withholding any comments on layout, color palette, navigability etc. until you say it is basically like you want it, and i have had a few days to absorb it.

I am having the same problem.

I like the change though, change is good.
 
Skyscraper banner should be fixed!
 
I still see it too. I liked the old header SPECIFIC/RELATED/COMMUNITY etc. and the old BIG TEXT much better. Navigation is more difficult and the thread titles are not big at all. It may cause a problem for those members with less than perfect vision. OTOH, the font of a reply is much bigger and easier to read than it used to be. That said, I would like to thank you for all of your hard work to keep the place up and running. I will do my best to adapt to whatever you come up with. :cool:
 
Ok, banners will be addressed. Not sure why the skyscraper is still showing up. LARGE PRINT style is still a work in progress. Forum header navigation will be addressed.
 
Looks like you've got the skyscraper ad on the index page fixed for paid users. I'm no longer seeing it.
EDIT: I'm still seeing it...i must've hit the tab on it and closed it up myself.

FWIW, if you manage to implement everything on your list, i may get used to the new format.

I would like to see some darker color schemes though.
 
Noticing some subtle changes so far, things are definitely starting to look nicer. Shadows and some darker colors in places really make it look better.
 
How about bottom of the page breadcrumbs Spark, they're a real time saver.
