That Acrylic looks great!

But, do I need one?? I certainly want one though......
 
More pictures are up on GEC's page. I have to admit, the draft beer acrylic looks pretty good.
 
Another fan of the acrylic, looks like a great choice for this knife. Make mine with lots of crazy black lines....

second guessing my purchase of a crown lifter(just ordered) after I noticed pre-order of beer scouts. I'm a sucker for shields...

It's a tough choice because both have nice covers. Don't know if it helps you much, but I've seen a couple BF approved dealers say that the stock levels on these are going to be high - if you don't do the preorder you could pick up a second or third knife later...
 
just want one of this style, famous last words. I love the blade art on the crown lifter. But that'll fade away with use . The shield will be there a while. Decisions decisions....

I think GEC did everything they could to not get blamed of shorting the market on this run ;)

And it looks like they are going to be GREAT !!

I like it a lot so far! I love the covers. The jigged covers, the nail nick and the cap lifter secondary are all new "things" I don't have in any of my traditional collection! The fit and finish are great. The grind on the pile side of the blade close to the handle has a bit of uneven grind(no big deal). Such a cool little blade and it's definitely gonna get some use and pocket time!!!!

Those do look pretty good! I still think they would've fit the name better if the swirls were white instead of black, but I think one of those will look pretty good next to my Tortoise Shell Acrylic from last year. :thumbup:
