I just recently got my first Northwoods a Broadway Jack thanks to a fine BF member. I now see what all the fuss is about. There very well done knives. I like all the suspense in wondering what's comming next. Of course it is a hassle to get every one you want but that's half the fun for me. There's Nothing like the thrill of the Hunt![]()
The Yooper Jack
I propose the "Northwoods Hullabaloo." Sounds like a place in Michigan but actually reflects this conversation.![]()
How about the Stormy Kromer,,,wait,,copyright,,,and would have to be in a plaid bone...
,,,Mike in Canada
Given the surrounding mystery how about the "Sasquatch"?
No witnesses, not pictures, just some bump in the night tales.
Lollly Scramble isn't all bad, actually. I'm afraid the joke and reactions were a bit beyond me. Bark River? is going to make one? Does that mean they're tooling up for their own folder? Hmmmm. Don't know about pocketknife convex grind tho', but I suppose that could be addressed if needed. In-teresting thread.
Thanks,Neal
Yes, Derrick posted a partially obscured image of the Bark River folder a few weeks back. From what I could see, it appeared to be a brown canvas micarta friction folder around 4" long. Please don't take the description as me knowing what it is because I was looking at a knife you couldn't see much of and it was at distance... it's just a guess from the parts I could see.
With kids, I thought Steve was from the cartoon Over The Hedge. "Let's call it Steve. Steve's not a scary name. ". [emoji16]
