Do an Internet search.

Quartermaster's address appears as 227 TURKEY DRIVE, Dripping Springs,TX 78620

EX: http://americanhandgunner.com/quartermaster-knives/
EX: http://www.knifesupply.com/quartermaster_knives.html

Here's a video tour of the factory: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wtis_yD-Yp0

It's for sale. You might want to buy it.

Awesome. I have been to 100s of manufacturing facilities in the US, Europe and Asia. That, without a doubt, it the nicest "factory" I have ever seen. LOL!

Sorry to hear of your troubles, OP. I have only had one occasion to make use of QM's customer service, and it was a totally different experience from yours. I used the wrong size Torx bit on one of the pivot screws on my QTR-2, so I emailed them to ask about buying a replacement. They sent an email back asking which color it was. I replied back that it was the standard stone wash, and within a few days I had a new pivot screw, free of charge. This was some time ago, so perhaps their cs has gone downhill since. Idk.

So your choosing to ignore all the evidence pointing to shady business practices and out right lies... ok got it.

Yo mama, you can lead a horse to water but can't make it ..... some people like there head in the sand life's a lot simpler when you disregard reality lol
I have read the "conspiracy" posts so many times it is started to make me laugh. Just because the same old "proof" is regurgitated over and over does not mean it is "proof".

They have since changed there address to a p.o box number how convenient... what other credible manufacturer that has REAL facilities has there address as a p.o box??? Spyderco? Benchmade? Leatherman? Nope they all have REAL facilities.

The proof is that they have not made their physical address public, if it even exists. They have claimed, at one point in time, that their address was 227 Turkey Drive, which is a house. They were questioned and asked to provide concrete evidence as to where their facility was, and all they said was "Made in Texas." That's like the 'Nothing to see here, move along' type of attitude and it's shady. Whoever the guy JP is, running the Quartermaster Backstage Instagram, he has a piss poor attitude and avoids all questions asked. The photos of their "facilities" look like sheds in the desert. It's really hard to believe that they are working out of a stick-built building in the desert.

in defense of quartermaster if I ran a business like they did I wouldn't give out my address either!

By the way anybody else notice that mop on top of Jared's head during the last video for SHOT Show?

This poor dead horse has been beaten beyond all recognition. If someone has solid evidence that Quartermaster Knives is committing fraud, then do as Screwdriver suggests and file a complaint with the FTC. Otherwise, can people stop referring to circumstantial (at best) evidence as "proof?" There are many unanswered question about the company, for sure, but having unanswered questions based upon bills of lading from China containing unspecified knives, youtube real estate videos, P.O. box addresses, etc. is a far cry from having substantial proof of criminal activity.

Then what does all the evidence point to?

Why won't they give an honest answer?

I get not everyone can put 2 and 2 together but good lord what do you need to start raising red flags that a company is full of crap?

From your post I guess nothing would raise red flags except a news article with Jared's arrest and subsequent prosecution. Lol

That's ok not all of us pick up on things easily. Good luck with those rose colored glasses.

Sorry....I would rather wait for solid evidence, then hang with a small group of conspiracy theorists with no evidence.

And I am only posting this reply because shinyedges bated me in another thread to do so. Said it was funny as I had not replied....

It baffled me someone would willfully ignore the elephant in the room but then I reread the thread and seen where you stated you have zero values.. now I get it, makes perfect sense actually.
All this is making me want to buy a Quartermaster....I mean, I really have ZERO VALUES which is why I own and EDC a Strider SnG and SmF.

Maybe I'll order this one tonight.

Interesting post, and I get the point about no proof. There is no proof either way about QM. A ton of people look at that as shady, while some just leave it what it is, an abyss. I have no dog in this fight I own no QM's, but comparing QM's CS to Spyderco's might just be a bit of a stretch....

There are tons of bad QC and Customer service complains in many threads about Spyderco. Personally, I have had nothing but good luck with their QC and CS. People like to repeat what they read and feel comfort in being part of a bandwagon, team etc. Gives people comfort. Kinda like being part of the perceived cool crowd in school.

So it's ok when I was genuinely interested in their "Vaquita" model, asked if they were made in the US, because I heard rumors, and was called a troll, keyboard commando, and an ***hole.

I think the majority of their designs are ugly, but I like Warren Thomas designs. I wanted a Vaquita very badly, but they won't get a dime now.

BTW, I cannot see the difference between what people in here do to people that show interest in their products, or ask for solid proof. Ridicule is just as bad no matter where it comes from.

I purchased a Quatermaster and have to thank the haters on BF for my decision. After reading all the proof, I realized that there was shady proof only and decided to see one for myself and make an informed decision on my own experience.

So you think it's ok for owners and employees to call a potential customer a keyboard commando, because I questioned where the knife was made?

No, I don't think it is OK....do you think it's OK for me to get bashed on for questioning "proof"?
