RESOLVED: Complaint for Ilbruche

Ilbruche is still laying low and avoiding knife forums. Hard to believe an otherwise well thought of craftsman would jeopardize his own reputation for $200. Still worse, Bruce may not actually realize that the damage he is doing to his own character greatly exceeds the loss of reputation and is in no way compensated for by a mere $200. It's just not worth it bro. I will move on from this incident in a few weeks, but it will follow you the rest of your life. Character is a fragile thing and, once lost, can be very difficult or impossible to restore. So is the respect of others, which is generally lost to those who fail to keep their character polished like fine gold.

But he is so wrong because if there is now one person who believes he is a POS thief then his rep has taken a hit.

My bet is there is a lot more than one person who thinks this idiot is a POS thief!!!

I felt pretty much like this was going to be rectified and corrected by Mr. Ilbruche when it first arose in here in the GB&U Forum..

However, this has gone on more than a MONTH and quite long enough, IMO..

I am calling BULLSHIT Ilbruche!:thumbdn:

you could always set up a sting through the dating service, bogus profile, etc. have him contact you then get him on the phone and fire away:D

Hello Bruce. You probably know me best as HighDesertWalker. We have an unfinished business deal that was initiated almost a year ago (mid June 08 as I recall). I believe it is in your best interest as well as my own to bring this deal to closure as quickly as possible.

You were given a Reeves double bit hatchet in return for re-handling a Rambo IV field knife. Both items were shipped to you via USPS Priority Mail last June. Communications have gradually fallen off to nothing, and you have subsequently vacated the blade forums you used to hang out on.

There are a number of legal options available to me as means to seek justice in the matter under discussion. There are laws against committing fraud over the internet or through the USPS, and, looking at the map, I'm not all that far south of your location in Eldorado Springs. I've considered driving up to pay a visit to your local law enforcement authorities. The documentation I have is extensive, and I would guess the authorities might want me to accompany them on a visit to your digs. There's nothing more effective than showing up in person at the local law enforcement jurisdiction to file a complaint. Frankly, I would hate to waste any more energy than I already have on this matter, and I would think you too might be getting a little tired of hiding out in the rockies and skipping from one forum to another. It's not worth it bro. Contact me on Blade Forums or Shotgun Shack and lets put this matter behind us.
 
You have certainly put the ball in his court, it is up to Bruce to make it right. C'mon Bruce make it right.
 
As expected, I got banned at Ramie. Hope they left the post, but I doubt it. Any members in good standing want to take up the cause at Ramie? Several suggested I post my complaint there. Hard situation. The incident in the complaint happened through PM on BF, but Ramie is where bruche hangs out now (for obvious reasons).
 
You were banned for posting a complaint? And he is protected despite such behavior? That's... well, since it happened on another forum I probably shouldn't say what I think that is. :foot:

Hope everything works out for you but leave the skirts to thems that's prettier!

They did not. I'm guessing they didn't want dirty laundry from another forum drug over there which is understandable. I don't blame though for trying every possible way to reach him.

I want to thank Blade Forums and its moderators for supporting honest transactions by bearing with me during this protracted complaint process. You guys rock. I'm going back to being a regular on WSS and other subs associated with Busse, Swamprat, etc.

To keep the record straight, I was searching for bruche on Ramie under the new name SigP2269. I had previously been banned for posting my "resignation" after Steve indulged in repeated personal attacks. So I resigned, got banned and Steve rewrote my resignation post "under my name" with his own words. That's called "internet fraud", and I was able to get the offending post dropped very quickly. I had been able to download documentation that proved beyond a shadow of doubt that my final post had been altered. haha

What probably happened today is that after I made the post under sigp2269, someone went to the BF complaint, put 2 and 2 together, and banned my new name. No hard feelings here. I did what I had to do and they did what they had to do.
 
Just curious, was the axe a trade for the work on the other knife, or was the axe a contest prize, and the work on the other knife was to be done free of charge?
