Scrap Yard 511 (SYKCO 511) - did you get one?

Got mine today(no pics) and was surprised at how small the handle is,oh well i can live with it.I can't wait for the 911!

Got mine today. . . Handle too small for my big paws, but still useable. I think im just spoiled by my other pricier knives. this knife is great knife: price ratio

Yeah I got mine today!!!
Here's a pic with the War Dog to compare.

I'll wait for mine but but they've forever lost my "kin" as customers. Their reasons were not the pre-order process, but the lack of ScrapYard being forthright about it.

Neat thread from a fellow dog. Apparently the 511 holds a surprise underneath the coating http://www.scrapyardknives.com/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Cat=0&Number=527437&an=0&page=0#Post527437. I think I may blue mine and perhaps etch it. Just no sure how to etch it with the Res-C handle not being removable.
You would probably have to hang it with a coat hanger in some type of a test tube glass filled with etchant only up to the handle. I would tape up the res-c like a mofo beforehand as well. I think it would look excellent.

I was thinking maybe a Mason Jar? If I do it I will post pics up!

wow, after seeing that pic of it stripped, I am even more excited! SWEET! thanks for the link dude

I hope I am in the second shipment. I have a deli ma the next knife I want is a 9 inch blade. I am a little concerned about the handles. I have medium sized hands and am wondering about the rat to dog handles.

Got mine yesterday; nice knife for the money. Not super impressed with the sharpness on mine so it will let me brush up on my sharpening skills. :). The handle is on the small side for my liking, but it is nice and grippy. Still love the RMD more!
