Aho- you have to understand that EVERYONE who buys and sells knives is a little more vigilant after the Vlad Pavlov deal, and then the Ann_Dem. for all intents and purposes, we let our guard down and got it in the bum again.

as I said in my previous posts, we look out for one another. we don't want to villify you. I think we all agree that all we can do is hurry up and wait. to me though this seems like one of those "make millions on ebay and never see the product" deals. a scam. a get rich quick scheme. you may be an unwitting participant, but you would be a participant nonetheless. and in the eyes of the law, you would be an accomplice.

the disclaimer on your site raises questions though. do you or do you not personally guarantee that all of the knives will be authentic, and if they are not you will refund the money promptly? what you are posting here and what the disclaimer on your website says seems to me as two different things.

come the end of the week, we are all going to know what the deal is here. as soon as the first or second transactions are completed most people here are going to formulate a judgement and begin warning others to stay away, or are going to be pleased and say deal with this guy.

I hope that my suspicions are unfounded, because this is an opportunity to put some great knives in the hands of people who may not otherwise be able to afford them.

again, though I know that if something is too good to be true, it usually isn't.

and for anyone who is thinking of dealing blind with aho: Caveat Emptor- let the buyer beware.

Yup, I agree DaveH

At this point after reading this whole thread, I'm not really sure which way this thing will fall. While most of the knives have drastically low prices, I found some on the website that weren't too far out of line.

I do find it a bit strange that the website sells so many different products, however.

Maybe we should relax just a little, no need to beat up on anyone. And we'll see how it turn out.

DaveH is right. Several of us have ordered. Let's see how it works out. I'm sure we'll all post the results of the purchases...

I have ordered three knives and yeah, have a little trepidation, but $80 (for over $700 MSRP in knives) that is guaranteed by Google and by Visa is not something I'll lose sleep over if it turns out to be bad, on the other hand multiply that by hundreds by $80 on his end with his home phone number and address published then I would tend to believe he is sweating bullets. He has been pretty straightforward dealing with us and I will give him the benefit of the doubt, nothing else I can do. I am taking a risk and knew it coming in. Also, he will cancel your orders and reimburse you now if you wish, he did for me, then I re-ordered.

I'm not too worried. I paid with Visa. If it is some kind of scam, I will tell Visa and they will dispute the charge. He won't end up with the money and I won't have to pay. I have had to do this before and it worked pretty well to my surprise.

I hope it is a real deal but the more I see people post on it, the more I think it was some kind of mistake. At first I was actually thinking that he was some kind of a wholesaler and he bought a huge stock of discontinued or overstocked knives. Now I see he doesn't actually have the knives in his hands. My hope for getting these knives is near zero. I think the only way it would happen is if he ended up paying the difference. If he had to do that, it would break him. I don't want to cost anyone money, I just thought I was getting in on a great deal.

I'll wait a few days and see what happens.

Most of the really good pickins are gone by now. If this turns out to be legit, I'm going to go crazy knowing I could have bought a Kopa, a Military, a Dodo, and any number of Emerson CQC's for under $50 apiece.

I'm in for two titanium ATR's and two Impalas for a total of about $80. We'll see.

I spoke with the supplier this morning and they officially state that the knives are authentic however, I have asked some pointed questions about the blades that the initial rep I spoke with was unable to answer (not surprisingly). I was told they would look into my questions and have a response for me within 24 hours.

Since I am not a blade nut/avid enthusiast I would appreciate it if I could take some of your questions and aggregate them to ask the supplier the best possible questions to verify authenticity of these knives.

I would appreciate it if people could provide a list of models and questions per model so we can all benefit from knowing one way or another. Model numbers from our site are the most helpful as opposed to the knife name/title/description.. unless that is part of the question..

Ex:
Seal Revolver (63125|SOGREV-7) - The description shows AUS6 stainless steel but the knife design calls for the use of AUS8 instead.

Hello to all here from Germany!
I´ve had a look to this incredible shop and really surprising for me is that the MOD Mark I cost $244, a CRKT Kasper folder $48, Ka Bar Extreme Fighter $155, and the there will be an ATR for, what was the price-$22? Oh!!!!
Also interesting is the CRKT M16 Tanto Alu Handle for 16.71, the CRKT M16 Spear Point Alu Handle costs $57.75. And there´s an ATR with Stainless Handle for 117.88$ and the price for the Titanium Handle will be only $26.63:jerkit:.
I hope everyhing runs fine with your orders! If the price for the real Para Military will be truly $25.09, then I´ll have 150 of them, also 150 of the real ATR´s! :D

Take care and regards from Germany,
Sir-Hudson

I may be wrong, but it appears that some of the critics haven't looked at this site, or don't understand what drop shipping is. Are there some really cheap knives? Yes, there are also many, many more that I could get cheaper at any of the knife specific e-tailers I usually use. There are also a ton of different products that have nothing to do with each other, and would be illogical to attempt to warehouse. aho is only a relay, he can't do anything about the product he sells, he is just a conduit for retail sale of these items. He can't mark up much because there isn't much justification for it. He can't guarantee the authenticity of a product he'll never see, doesn't fix them if they break, doesn't come to your house to do installation. You use a site like this if you don't have a tax number to buy wholesale for yourself. A lot of people are just focusing on the knives, and only on the cheap knives. To me, this is more like when I found $20 Victorinox knives on clearance at Target for $5. to Target, it's just one of a myriad number of product types they sell, and they needed to get rid of them. Except this is straight from the jobber/wholesaler kind of level, and they're looking to dump some product. This transaction doesn't worry me more than any other online one I've performed. All I see is potential pricing error from the supplier.

One thing that is definitely way off on a lot of the listings is the number of items available. I noticed a Ruger edition Case knife that even says in the listing description that it is a special edition limited to 500 pieces. Then it goes on to say there are over 1000 of these available to buy.

Regardless, if I can get just some of the knive I ordered at these prices (I went back and got some more after my last post) and get full refunds on any I don't receive, I'll be in great shape.

I agree with the previous poster --so far to me this dealer passes the sniff test, although it's obvious the items are listed in a fairly haphazard way. Understandable I guess if you are dealing in a lot of volume, move a lot of product rapidly, and are thinly staffed.

For those of us that placed orders over the holiday weekend, what is the ETA on or orders? Thanks.

I would expect the order to start shipping by late Thursday or Friday. If by close of business Monday they have not shipped I will start canceling orders with the supplier Tuesday morning for those who request it through google checkout.

edit: an update to this message.. a couple of orders have now shipped from the supplier. I expect to receive and fwd more tracking numbers today.

That is good news, that means within a week we will know if the knives are real or not and you will either be getting a slew of orders or being run out town. I hope for the buyers sake this is just a really good deal. It would mean good bussiness for you also as we wouldall bookmark your site to see what new items have been added that we can order.

Hey how are yah

Just a quick question if someone can answer for me why is everything back in stock. The emersons, stretch, dodo and also a few others. I thought they were all sold out.

aj

I just got an email from them and both of my knives shipped today. According to the invoice I should have them on the 5th. *tick, tock*

how can he sell a dodo for 22 dollars and other sites selling them at 80 + dollars ??? also with the 22 dollar dodo being a drop shipment would seem to make the price higher then other sites!

I agree withh billman !
If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is", it just never sinks in

i wish everyone the best of luck with this one !

I seen the dodo listed at close to 90 dollars ! thats almost a 70 difference ! i just dont see how this could be done unless they are stolen or knockoffs !
