Spyfanman - Where is the birthday card (certificate of Authenticity)? the Conclusion

Hey,Hey Let's not start dragging currencies into this argument. Why would you pick on the poor Ruble like that? Rubles can be changed for Dollars at any major bank. If you want a monetary comparison to a Frankenbenza, don't pick a sovereign currency, try something like the Euro. It too is made of many original, individual parts, with the idea of creating something better. Yet,just like Frankenbenza,it only devalues those constituent parts, and pisses people off.:D

Yeah! Don't pick on poor Rubie....

That's why we don't want it in Denmark :D

I sure hope it ends without more trouble for you now Dino, because this has gone way beyond stupid.

Well, when a superMod says it is a good idea to "shut up", I guess it might be wise to listen. :foot:

I would like to respond to one gent in particular though who consistently does his best to state his case and yet forgets the majority of the issues he brings up, have already been re-hashed over and again. Nonetheless, my responses are in blue.....

your reputation is done here and on any other forum that this story finds its way....even if dinokay's story was riddled with holes, enough has come out about you and your practices that you are an unreliable seller...

Looks like you are still misinformed as last time I checked there was no evidence of unreliable selling on my part - Mr. Kalandtzis shipped the item to me and I shipped the item as seen in the photos to him. Me and my practices and the information that has come out? The way I see it, trust was never broken and never had to be earned back.

Dinokay sends money. you recieve money....that is positive feedback on his part....you send knife, dinokay discovers it is a POS slapped together from parts knife...demands refund...you refuse...negative feedback... again...this isn't Ebay and you don't get to leave retaliatory negative feedback! get it through your head!

Funny how people refer to the knife as a POS or Frakenbenza. Yet that same POS was good enough for the buyer to pm me with a message saying "Have you shipped that beautiful knife yet?" Have you ever met Frakenstein before? I once did back many centurious ago, well not really actually, but I did meet his master. We had lunch onetime and he was very forthcoming about how most of the parts that lended hand to Franken's life were used parts from other bodies. Shhh! don't tell anyone though or it might spoil the analogy since the parts upgraded were brand new on the knife Mr. Kalandtzis purchased. Retailitory Negative Feedback - with all do respect I believe the Feeback given on Ebay is based on "overall" impression of transaction.

why does everything you post seem like shameless self promotion? you earned a negative feedback because you knowingly described and sold a sebenza made from other sebenzas as a new knife. Then when you were told that it wasn't new you argued that it was!! right then is when a negative feedback is earned. Unless dinokay's money was counterfeit, the check bounced, or he paid in rubles, he fulfilled his end of the transaction and is entitled to positive, not neutral, not negative, feedback.

There you go again as with many others about that "knowingly" and "intentional". I say this humbly when I say that unless you or anyone else has Obi Wan Kanobi Jedi mind-reading and H. G. Well's Time Travel Capabilities coupled with futuristic computers then I would say that end of the argument is quite invalid. One would need not only the ability to read minds, but the ability to time travel back in time the very moment the listing was created. Then, one would need an accompanying computer highly evolved to both interpret and print out the info to be analized by qualified, certified, licensced experts. Should one have all of the above and he gladly submit copies of the info here, then there might be a case.

ETA: no matter how rude or "low class" dinokay was, that gives you no right to keep his money even though you sold him something that you misrepresented...and if that was the only reason you kept his money, why did you post a definition of the word new to justify your actions?

I never intended to keep Mr. Kalandtzis's money. It was never about the money. I was merely set on letting the transaction go where the buyer preferred it to be. He preferred it to go a third party when he ran straight to Paypal with a dispute before having given me the opportunity to both hear and respond to his concerns. The only reason it isn't still there is because a few good people here bothered to take the time to write constructive posts which influenced my thinking in taking their advice and doing the right thing to make it right (calling Paypal and pleading no contest to the buyer). I couldn't live with the fact of not doing the right thing once it was made known to me.

enough of your flowery bullsh*t, you're on ignore.

Dinokay, I hope Spark removes the unnecessary negative feedback Spyfanman, aka Ryan Posey, gave you for selling you a knife that was misrepresented as new when in fact it was heavily modified, voiding the warranty and affecting the tolerances one pays for when they purchase a sebenza, or what they think is one...

This will be my last post on the subject, I will regularly check back to see if you recieved your refund and if someone finally bans this POS. He offers nothing to the bladeforums community and anyone who deals with Ryan Posey, AKA Spyfanman does so at their own risk.

This SPY character sure is a yapper.

I cringe at the thought of sociopaths like this running loose in our society.

I sure wish he'd shut up shuttin' up!

So the thief is not yet banned, but the circus goes on.

This is why on most overseas knife forums, and there are many from England to Europe to Russia and further afield, that people say "you cannot buy from Bladeforums, it is full of thieves and liars".

It is very sad that it has come to this.

Well sir, I would say you are wrong and this is not the right place for that discussion.

You correct their misconceptions......Right? I mean about BF being FULL of thieves and Liars...... Right?

How can one knock a guy who posts a bugs bunny clip? Ahh RWS, just want you to know I still have love for ya. Even if you don't believe my apology was sincere to you and the other forum members. Even if you once accepted my compliment and credit to your posts for being the last nail in the coffin of my pride and then rejecting it so hastily. Even if you think I am a sociopath, flathead, douche, boob, etc. I still have love for ya. ;)

Yes, it is, and yet you still go on.

I'll give you one thing SPY, you are, if nothing else, persistent.

Thanks. I will take that as a compliment. At least I hope that is what it is meant to be.) I just don't like to see an otherwise innocent guy, past proven seller, being labeled a swindler even if the first part of his name is SPY as the real ones out there are in the shadows doing their dirty work. Why waste time on a fella like me when the real bad guys are looming just under the surface of New Exchange Posts. I sure hope I didn't enlighten them in any way as what NOT to do when trying to scam someone.

I want to jump in for just a minute...The folks who have posted recommending SPY be banned are simply voiceing an opinion...They (we) are NOT pressuring the Mods, (never met anyone who could pressure ESAV, unless it be Mrs. ESAV)...My personal opinion is that We (They) would not tolerate such a person as SPY in our personal lives and are simply letting the Mods (ESAV) know this sort of person would not be tolerated...

As far as this being an unintentional mistake on the sellers part...I can actually see that....for about a minute...once the buyer was unhappy, for whatever reason (have you shipped that beautiful knife?), as ESAV stated, this deal should have been undone and no feedback would have been necessary.

Instead SPY..your story is now...(I was merely set on letting the transaction go where the buyer preferred it to be.)...the next most recent thing that caught my eye is..(I checked there was no evidence of unreliable selling on my part - )...for 25 or so pages we've heard how you think you have done no wrong...you ,sir, are a perfect example of why bad guys are not allowed to investigate themselves to determine thier own innocence or guilt....

I'm willing to bet 20 dollars to a doughnut, when you recieve Frankenmonster back....you will have something negative to say about it thus negating the need for you to return the money...oh shucks, that's right...PayPal is refunding the money not you...dagnabit you missed a chance at 20 bucks...

As I said earlier...you are in the wrong clearly and completely...you have been given more than enough rope to hang yourself with and ...Eye God Woodrow...you did a fine job .

Back to my corner..

Good Luck Dino...Thanks for bringing this to light....May God Bless.

So, SPY... I know it is difficult for you to both STOP talking (especially when the subject is -You) as well as simply - answer a question directly clearly and concisely (let alone honestly) but...
What is the status on the knife? It was due for delivery to the P.O. box Today (the 8th)
Did you manage to break away and pick up the knife, inspect it and give the A-OK?

I'm a long time lurker here, but as an overseas buyer of good standing on many international knife forums I don't understand why this blatant liar and fraudster is still allowed to post on BF?

There is no doubt he is a liar and a fraud, and that makes him a thief.

Surely BF still bans thieves?

So the thief is not yet banned, but the circus goes on.

This is why on most overseas knife forums, and there are many from England to Europe to Russia and further afield, that people say "you cannot buy from Bladeforums, it is full of thieves and liars".

It is very sad that it has come to this.

If you don't like the way we behave here, you don't have to stay.
So many other forums would be glad to have you.
Give my regards to Lawmandan, Dan.

I was checking that out myself. The last update said leaving San Jose. Then I went back and checked SPYs P.O. box address out in one of Dinos previous posts. Then I jumped on good old Google map and looked to see how far it had to go.I'd say it should be in Bass Lake P.O. tomorrow,IF the postal service in California is worth a damn(which, when was the last time you heard of something in California being worth a damn.Especially if it's Gov't run).If it's anything like the postal service in Texas(where I just shipped a package) it will be Friday before it hits his box(mine bounced around Texas for 2 days, scheduled on the 6th,got there today, and that was priority mail too)So I would expect availability no later than Friday.

Of course SPY probably won't get off work on Friday in time to get to the post office(he will have to go when they are actually open so he can show i.d. and sign for it) and if he misses it Friday, well the Bass Lake P.O. isn't open on the weekends. So he will have to try and make it on Monday. But of course SPY,ever the good employee and citizen, has to be at work by 8 a.m.,and golly gee,the post office doesn't open until 8.He doesn't want to get fired for coming in late. What will our hero do? AH HA!His lunch break.Sadly SPY remembers that his lunch break falls from 11-11:30,just like the p.o.,and his boss won't let him switch it around cause then he would miss his usual two joints and a taco lunch with the other local captains of Bass Lake industry down at the local scarf and barf.

So here is a little word problem for everyone.A postal truck with a package for SPY leaves San Jose,CA on Wednesday traveling south at an average speed of 50mph.It has to travel approximately 175 miles(making stops to unload/load mail and packages and do some drugs at every piss ant, hippie town in between) to reach it's destination in Bass Lake,CA.How long will it take to get there?

A: It depends on the drug consumed by the driver.Your typical Californian with a Medical Marijuana Card will take 4 days and travel 300 miles at an average speed of 14mph.Arriving just as the P.O. opens Monday morning.
At the other end of the spectrum we have the hard drug Californian, who will consume 2 big bags of meth and an 8 ball of coke. This driver is already at the Bass Lake P.O.(because he knows a guy in Bass Lake ;)) having traveled exactly 175 miles at an average speed of 110 mph.Of course he forgot to drive the mail truck,so it doesn't really matter.

This adds to the conversation how?
You do realise that the poster directly above you was a postal supervisor who may take offense to the mockery you've posted?
The postal system may not be perfect, but then again everyone is welcome to deliver their own mail personally or use another service.

You have to slow down on the alcohol and what ever you do, DO NOT DRIVE, take a cab or call a friend.
