Is it close mileage wise? My friends works in the New River area and I just wanted to know if he is close enough to have a "good" contact person.

Totally agree. I've been a victim of and investigated these situations before. You need to continue the calls until you are refunded your money. Persistance and tenacity will get your money back.
 
Not sure I would keep calling the mother. IANAL, but if she is not involved in the fraud, it could constitute harrassment.

A ray of hope here. I checked the delivery confirmation number that was pulled for my knife on December first and it is now active. It looks like my knife may be delivered today. I hope it is as was described (Manix 2 in S90V NIB). Hopefully everyone else's is on the way too. I'll keep you posted.
 
hmm, i hope every ones knife is en route as well... i for one did not receive any tracking number from stypecl.

has anybody received an email response from him?
 
Well, I got a package from Bradley today. It was rogerschrisj's two Massad Ayoob's. Has somebody received my Manix 2 in S90V? Here I was thinking I could call the dogs off. I'll make arrangements to send the Massad's to the proper owner and if I don't hear anything about my knife, I'll try turning the screws a bit more. This makes my dealings with PayPal a bit more involved. Now instead of "not receiving" it will be "received the wrong" and I would guess PayPal would want me to send the knives back to Bradley.

I don't see why paypal would have you send them to him again. And honestly I'm afraid that if they are returned, I'll never see them.Just send them to me and I'll have them rapped under the tree waiting for of to open. I thank you very much for being a stand up guy and notifying me that you received my knives. I will be more than happy to pay you for the shipping. Thank you once again and good luck with your knife. I will keep my eyes open for a package with your name on it.

I made contact with my buddy. He is on vacation until the second of January but promised me he will "do something" to stimulate this guy to do the right things.
 
I think I'll be calling Brad's mother again tomorrow. Like I stated earlier, I received some knives, but not mine (they will be on their way to Chris tomorrow). I emailed Brad again with no response. If after speaking with his mother, things still seem as they are, I think I'll try to contact their local police department and file a claim. I have claims with PayPal, the USPS, and my local police department.

Has anyone received what they ordered?

I am about 99% certain that if my buddy does get involved, and does determine that a crime under Arizona law has been committed THERE will be an arrest.

So if Momma has any brains, she has until the 2nd to resolve this and I will call off the "pigs" (dogs don't fit:D:D)

From reading this thread, it appears that four of us have been shorted by Bradley. It seems that I am the only one who has received a package from him and it was the wrong one. I am forwarding the knives to their rightful owner. So that leaves three of us.

I called Mrs. Hendricks this morning and got the message machine. I left a fairly detailed message letting her know the situation and how serious it is. She seems to be in contact with Bradley. I also let her know that if he doesn't make good soon, he may receive a visit from a LEO and possibly be arrested (thank you wolfmann601). As I stated earlier, I have claims with PayPal, the USPS, and my local PD. I will attempt to file a claim with either the Scottdale (Mrs. Hendricks) or Glendale (Bradley's given address) PD's.
