Don't know, I just wonder why the 2022 slice is brown. That's a shit color. Could mean impending doom. Maybe Guy just ran out of other colors and had plenty of natural pigment left from his turd polishing.

I think the problem is more that they aren't selling knives: they're selling hope of a knife.

This thread is a warning and I am an example of one who didn't buy a S!K due to this exact thread. I love the style, materials, functionality, and promised warranty... I was ready to pull the trigger on one in the secondary market and then found this thread in my research. A company who can't keep their promise to produce a knife that's been paid for certainly won't warranty the knife if it fails. There are plenty of companies that DO everything that S!K claims they will do eventually, someday, maybe in a different steel... Anyway, I appreciated the warning.

No, but you know what? We have two separate sets of percentages- we’re one absolute number of total orders for any year away from knowing how many knives they sold for all those years. Then we can finally decipher the deliberately obscured delivery pace.
