I’m sincerely sorry for your losses. Luckily I still have my wife going on 25 years. But I did have to put down my 14-year-old golden back in August, and I’m still not over it.

Everybody here knows the joy of getting a new knife. But not everybody knows the character of the the owners of the companies they deal with, probably very few do, considering how many of those companies still exist and continue to attract new customers. Folks here need to be aware of that. It’s ok to inform where informing is warranted, but it’s not ok to cast judgement on people, unless or until they’ve proven themselves to be here with ulterior motives. Likewise, people shouldn’t be made to feel like they need to check in here with the resident knife police before (or after) buying a piece of hardware they like.

You guys have made your point about Survive! over and over, but when when y’all carry on like this, it gets a little uncomfortable to see. You could be driving away not only the posters you’re targeting, but others who might be put off by reading it as well. I just hope people will keep that in mind and maybe lighten up a bit.

I feel ya Boss. Heck I was attacked too when I was misunderstood about a statement on Survive. This thread is dedicated to keeping the public alerted on Survive deceptive practices. Wow you got your GSO 12. Feel free to enjoy it. I was part of a group back in 2015-16 that ordered one and didn't get one yet so you may get backlash from some that waited 7 years and haven't gotten their order yet. I of course canceled my order after I saw they wouldn't send it anytime soon. I won't send them $ for any reason. The mind set of most here is that Survive send people from time to time to post positive experiences and tell us how we are wrong about them. If you genuinely not a shill then I am sorry you were attacked for being one. So many of us were burned by them and they have not changed when we gave them the chance. Survive has a FB page and I would strongly urge you to go there to post your happiness with them. This page is dedicated to talk about the hall of shame they are. If you didn't know they were removed on Bladeforum from doing business because of their shady practices. If you find joy with your item then so be it. I have 2 of their knives from 2015 but it went down hill from there. I don't even use their knives anymore. They are more like pry bars or a froe. I understand where you stand as I love LT Wright, BHK, and Mora and even if others hate them I will use them because they work for me. Sorry for your loss and I hope you heal some soon. Dirt Time always makes me feel better. Time for me to go fish and build a fire and enjoy some fresh trout.
 
I always see this thread pop to the top the list when I check the exchange, It's the only reason I know of the company. So I went and looked at the company, the knives looked pretty damn good. Then I watched the youtube channel, and heard their side of the argument. Now I might buy one of their knives.

So there's a chance you guys are making them more sales with the exposer you give them with this multi year 3000 post thread, then they are losing. 😂

With all the reputable knife companies out there offering similar if not better products why would you roll the dice?

Congrats, what a well thought out and articulate post.

Place your order and let Survive know you are carrying their water, and you will get a knife before other customers who have paid years ago.

Once upon a time there was a guy named Guy, and he stole guns from a gun store and tried to sell them...

Seriously man, just read- You can skim through the back-n-forth stuff and find the gold.

I wouldn't give Guy or Ellie a dime even if they started producing light sabers.

I did skim a bit, from what I got they took pre order money and never delivered. And I will agree with guys, that I’m too lazy to do homework or read the entire thread, and yes a cold beer instead is probably the better option.

If that's true there are a whole lot of people with very poor reading comprehension skills. I'm curious what attracts you to them? Their sleazy character or their failure to deliver the knives people order?
