Bad Survive! Deserves A Permanent Post In The Hall Of Shame

I finaly managed to get refund for my seprember 2022 orders (GSO5.1 and GSO 4.5) via paypal. Never got response from Survive in last 2-3 months. I guess I was lucky to get GSO 3.5 within 4 months from order, and GSO8 without preorder at all (when they announced they are finishing up the GSO8 batch and have some leftovers, I asked for one, and got it the same day, lol), and those are really beautiful knives, perfect fit and finish, but couldnt wait longer (7 months now!) for 5.1 and 4.5 so I asked paypal for refund (ant god it after 20 days, survive never responded to the case). I dont understand how someone can wait 7 years for a knife? In 7 years I might not be interested in knives at all.

Congratulations! I’m pleased you were able to get your money back.

Classic S!K; if they’re not misleading people, they’re burying their heads in the sand. I’m sure they realized long ago responding to these complaints doesn’t benefit them.

The solution to most problems. 🤣

I wouldn't. I've seen some crazy numbers from that site, they dramatically overstate revenue generation in my experience.
They count refunds as completed orders - I wonder if they count them as revenue, too. 🤣

It would benefit them if they responded honestly and sincerely to them. Admit the ridiculous unfulfilled orders situation is their own doing, no excuses or blame put on their partners, and not only are they working on it, but provide a realistic plan to fulfill everything up to 2022, and then catch up on 2023 to within a few months. That includes not taking new orders on anything that isn’t completely finished and ready to ship NOW. That would go a long way toward restoring any kind of confidence. Unfortunately we know none of that will ever happen without a complete ownership and management change.

I agree- transparency is a great way to run a business.

… but because their “transparency” has been so full of bullshit for so long, they’re not going to bother to come up with bullshit explanations except every so often. They have to allow enough time for a new villain to be plausible to the unwitting masses.

I have no doubt that their business ledger is full of dirty cooking that the tax man would be very interested in seeing.

The problem with all that you have said they should do is that it excludes the most important part needed for them to "respond honestly."

They can't say what needs to be said because it would admit illegality. They'd have to say that they are con-artists running a ponzi scheme. And guess what? They've already said/done or promised to do all the other things you've said they need to do. All of it has been lies and excuses to avoid the real issue here: Survive! are grifting con-artist thieves. They can't stop thieving or the whole thing crumbles to the ground. It is a house of cards built on lies.

Unfortunately, that’s all too true.

So glad you got your money back from paypal. Survive! once again proves that they are thieving cowards for not even responding to your refund request. I just love when all the supports say that survive hasn't actually stolen anyone's money. Well yeah, they've been forced by various financial institutions to give the money back, and then they go and count that as completed orders. Bunch of sleazy crooks.

It may or may not be true. I can tell you that on the BBB website that order # 13570 did not get their order and @ $300 a knife that would be 4,071,000 and that is just one model? How many models and how many orders but one thing is for sure they are not making those kinds of numbers. I can tell you that my order was in the 7000s and I cancelled and the other model was in the 5000s. For the sake of math lets say 10 models and 5000 knives per knife. That is 50,000 orders for knives and I at $300 a knife that would be 15,000,000. How many models each year do they take orders for. You see why they don't have to ship knives to make money. I know some CDs that pay 12% and x that by 15M is 1.8 Million in interest. Guys this much larger than we think. I hope that it is not true. They must have 20 models they are selling and if there are 10k orders per knife you see how this can add up. That would be 60 million and if you got 10% interest that would be 6 million a year. Meanwhile they only send a handful of blades out and rake in $. It just my opinion but we often over look that this nation richest people operate and make money on debt. They may have stumbled onto a gold mine by debt.

If you haven't been to the BBB website lately you ought to read the complaints. Guy told the BBB that the mans orders were all fulfilled because he cancelled some of them. I thought that was funny but sad at the same time.
Guy states:09/17/2020
I am seeing 7 orders from this customer and all 7 have been fulfilled. Many of which were shipped within a month of the order being placed. The one order that took several years was a preorder that still needed to be produced. We are very clear on our website that preordered items do not exist yet and need to be made, so there can be a wait. As we have already established, the wait took much longer than we had anticipated due to problems in manufacturing. To improve we have made huge changes to our business model and invested in a lot of equipment. All production now happens in one place where parts can be checked against each other regularly. We are still behind because it takes time to get caught up, but we are making a much better product now and are on schedule to be caught up in the next few months.

**** ******* My orders have been fulfilled. Survive! Knives business practices are what is my issue. Here is some orders I placed Order # ***** purchased FEB 1st 2017 promised within 30-90 days actually shipped October 30 didn't receive til November thats 9 months or 270 days Order#***** bought 2 gso 5.1s and after 8 months of waiting asked for a refund and no answer for over a month and then they said the 4.7s would be out very soon and I could swap for them. Got it I. February And of course the Gso 7/7 that took 5 years to make. There is much more but the issue at hand is they make false claims on time frames and continuously break the responsibility to their customer.

Order number has no indication of order count. While there may be some overlap there is usually more to order numbers than count so basing any math on order numbers to estimate/assume a count is terribly flawed.

Just saw where ponzi master guy is moving operations back to PA... lol... rent doubled in idaho... Yada Yada yada... that's quite a bit of equipment to move... but, he said it wouldn't interrupt the scheduling. I'm sure it's nothing to worry about.

When the con is up in a given location, it's time to move! Again. And again. And so on... :poop:

I'm sure it won't interrupt scheduling , delivery on the other hand 🤣... what a clown show.
You can't interrupt a schedule that doesn't exist.

Production schedules are necessarily time bound, and nothing they do adheres to any time constraint. The "schedule" they publish on their web site has no meaningful reference to timing as there are knives listed as "shipping in 1 to 3 months" that have been there for years.
