I don't know how to express my "like" to all these comments, so I'm just going to report them all with a note "I really like this".
 
S!K states "We are hiring and will be caught up on old preorders within the next few months now that we have reduced timelines, costs, and risks."

Below is a screenshot of their Production "Schedule" page from December 2021 with pretty much the same thing. Those TSKs that were shipping now per their production capabilities, haven't shipped.

Welcome to blade forums, and I’m sorry you’ve been duped. You may eventually get your knife in 8 years, though some people haven’t. If I were you, I’d cancel that order and go buy a Carothers. The commentary will continue without you taking one for the team.
I have the refund request in with PayPal, luckily I got suspicious when there were no actual updates and Web searches led me to this forum.

Carothers look great and I even avoided a kick in the credit card because instead of preorders they say out of stock.

Avoided may be to strong... deferred a kick in the credit card...
 
Take a look at the FB page comments. A LOT of customers are pissed. In reply, S!K states "We are hiring and will be caught up on old preorders within the next few months now that we have reduced timelines, costs, and risks." Mark that down. "Next few months" means June? LOL.

There are so many complaints on the comments of their FB page. This is not just due to the move. It is obvious that their customer service has not improved since their days on BF.

The deeper you dive into the comments, the more curious it gets. It seems like the timeline S!K is reporting about their move might not be 100% accurate.

"I was getting curious on how to get a hold of these people so I googled their address and did a street view. I called the business that was located in the same building as their address. They told me oh they moved out a while ago they believe they moved to Pennsylvania. If you look at the street view there is a now available sign in the parking lot which to me would collaborate the empty building where they used to be. Also it would not be hard to fake updates and fake accounts to post reviews. More reviews than not claim they have not received their knives in months and even years. Just saying very suspicious."

I would not be in the least bit surprised to find out that this whole Idaho thing was a bunch of 🐄 :poop: from the get-go. :rolleyes:
 
Check out the S!K facebook post from 3/31. The comments from pissed off customers are totally brutal.

"Dustin Edwards We are working to hire someone to help now that we are settling in to our permanent location. If you know anyone in the Gettysburg area that is great with emails and knows knives please have them contact us."

The meltdown continues. So far, EVERY comment on S!K's 4/3 FB post is a customer complaint. Ellie appears to be recycling responses from 2015.

I don't use Facebook, so I miss out seeing the meltdown, but the news of this is greatly satisfying.
I hope the onslaught continues.
