Bad Survive! Deserves A Permanent Post In The Hall Of Shame

They're busy changing their name to "Setbacks Knives".
It will take some time to show on the website though because they are a team of two and any time spent on that is time not spent making knives.

It would be much more fun if they actually put some effort into their responses (lies).
 
I am really totally confused. Survive Knives is a team of two? If this be the case, orders are likely not going to be filled. And, what does awaiting fulfillment mean? Me thinks something is terribly rotten in Denmark. At some point, this company will be compelled to face the music.

Maybe someone can visit their new operations and knock on the metallic door.
 
Interesting that in the response shown from FB they talk about vendors don't they do everything in house there should be no vendors.

A vendor can supply goods or services, and in this case sounds like it's a heat-treatment company.
That's the beautiful thing about blaming vendors; until you're completely self reliant and mining your own materials, there's always another vendor to blame.

Guy and Ellie are absolute turds.
 
What about the performace of their products,i never abuse one of them.
Hopefully you never have an issue, here’s a example of the warranty process.
That was me with the 4.7 that I sent in and though they said they could find nothing wrong with it they wanted to "keep it for testing" and replace it for me.
I finally received a replacement GSO 6 in May after almost 3 years!
It's a great knife, but holy cow what a painful process (and full of the typical timeline lies).
 
People didnt get those "in stock" blades for months, LOL

Who in the right mind would send the knife back to them? You are lucky to get it in the first place! LOL

but I am going to take a minute to stick up for a forum buddy:

I remember when that went down, and it didn't seem so crazy then. That gentleman was led to believe he'd be made whole, and the way he got treated from the company was full on BS. I just don't think he deserves any flack for attempting to let the company follow through with their warranty process, I mean what else could he do? Keep the defective blade and call it good enough? That should tell anyone reading through here how messed up this company is, that provided you ever do receive your knife, if you have an issue you'd be out of your mind to send it back because you were extremely lucky to have ever received the promised knife in the first place. No, the blame here rests wholly on Survive. Three years to fulfill a frigging warranty claim, and then not even with the same model FFS.

Again, not sending heat at you, just letting you know how that went down, and I hope you're having a good day.

Anyone else thinking about taking a risk by ordering from these guys.....JUST. DON'T. DO IT.

I don’t think that was intended as a commentary regarding that specific instance, more a general comment about S!K and how it’s ludicrous at this point to think they are capable of making good on anything within a reasonable timeline.

I think that you're probably right, likely a more general comment that I remembered specifically. For myself, definitely only throwing heat at the company, not the member. Reiterating your comment so no one misses the big picture: Don't expect S!K to make good on orders or warranty issues in a reasonable amount of time!

Exactly what I've been saying this entire time. Guy and Ellie are a couple of bums who don't make anything. Even their few diehard defenders haven't shown their faces in here for awhile. I think they got the hint. We aren't talking hypotheticals, we aren't making guesses, this isn't defensible by "Well, you don't knoooowwww...." Yes we do. Many of us have had the real picture on these scumbags for quite a long time at this point. I'm just going to say it: if you give these oxygen thieves your money, you are dumb. End of.
 
S!K is absolutely unredeemable. They even screw up sure fire deals. They completely flub the one thing that could help establish some semblance of credibility.
