The new customer service guy barely answers but at least u get some sort of reply(as opposed to zero) before him sent 20 emails and called 50 times messages no reply) even though you get bs evading answers

I got a call the the PA Attorney General's office today. Woman wanted to clarify my complaint. Best part, she stated she is reading through this forum.

I told her I got a refund, she called me lucky.

I asked about next steps and she couldn't say per legal reasons. She did say, every complaint they review triggers a letter to Survive. I'm assuming they got a few letters recently. Keep up the good work folks.

Yup, try the PA AG's office. File a complaint with BBB. Post on FB, in YT comments. Keep on them until they refund.
 
Last night someone brought a S!K 4.1 factory second (delta 3V) to a knife guy get together. He got it off the exchange here. After checking it out, I think it’s a pretty well made knife and I couldn’t really tell what made it a factory second.

The same fella produced a plethora of other knives which I felt were just as good; particularly Carothers, which were Unfathomably excellent.

S!K obviously could have been one of the greats, but three things stand in their way:
1) can’t make product
2) terrible customer service
3) dishonest

That’s the trifecta. Close the doors!
 
Recently filed a paypal claim on them for an in stock, ready to ship blade... almost 3 months ago... got a message back full of the usual. Immediately called out the excuses and escalated my claim because their knife isn't worth owning. Calling AG in the morning and BBB... when will authorities take legal action? With so many complaints it would make sense that at some point the law would come into play or no?

please look at today's FB post 9/17. The caption states "Every edge is carefully honed to perfection, by hand." When you zoom in, you see that the tang and the handles are not flush. NOT EVEN CLOSE. So much for "perfection."
 
I can't believe they are still stringing people along. At least they don't perpetuate their scheme here anymore. Just the people who dgaf or are clueless support them.

Every time a see a YouTube video praising them like the Dutch dudes I roll my eyes.

……yes they did their reach around review then got smashed by the disgruntled customers then added a disclaimer to the vid. They never answered who asked who to do the review or if the blade was a freeby (which we can assume it was). Most pointed out that the knives they deliver are OK but the sales, lies and delivery issues made for a run away moment.

totally. Guy and Ellie have ZERO shame. They have been doing the same BS since 2013... but they continue to get people to give them $s. I am really amazed that they have kept this going for so long. Then again, Bernie Madoff was in business for decades before it finally caught up with him.
 
Let’s get the address of their “manufacturing facility” in PA and have a BladeForums protest out front. I think 100 members within a couple hour drive is doable.
 
I'm surprised no one stops by the shop. If I was a couple hours or so, you best believe I would make a visit. I'd love to see Guy backpedal in person.

Do they actually have a manufacturing facility? Has anyone reputable visited it, toured it and seen the volume of knives they claim to make actually in production? Companies that screw their customers also tend to behave similarly with suppliers.
I'll bet Dollars to Doughnuts they have destroyed their credit and can't buy steel from the big US manufacturers.
They wouldn't be the first ones buying in finished blades of dubious steel from China and claiming that they are made in the USA.

Sounds like it's a "you" issue. Obviously, your definition of a "few" weeks is different than Ellie's. 🤣

The recent Facebook comments are getting good. Survive tries responding but just puts their foot in their mouth.

They were then called out for using customer's pre-orders as their defacto slush fund hahaha.
