" Good morning everyone, it's me again. The new bohler steels are having inclusions and decarb issues. We will upgrade all orders to 1975 Ford Pinto leaf spring steel free of charge. Our high quality products will continue to be made in the USA, with American steel. Place your pre-orders now!"

Guy 2/28/24 Survive! Newsletter

Beginning with the new site launch, you will only be able to order things on the site that are in the shop and ready for immediate build or finished items that are boxed and ready to ship. We aren't doing anymore preorder promotions of any kind. Ever. Production delays should be our frustration, not yours.

... and that last part about seeing "where each model is in the production process" is bs. no one, including S!K, has any clue regarding when the knives will actually be completed.

The guy wouldn’t be anything if not for “completely full of shit”.

His tactical reversals are comical as they unfold and stunning as they continue to repeat, but when observed across the span of a decade it’s truly monumental.

I want a knife with K890 steel for a very long time and sadly only survive is offering these.
Of course I see all the horror stories and I am very reluctant to buy.
But one can pay using paypal.
Paypal is supposed to offer buyers protection but I never had to use it to get something refunded.
How does this work? Seller states he will ship the knife within 15 working days, if these have passed I can ask paypal to refund me?
Or is there more into it?

^^^^

That's like intentionally slashing yourself with a knife because the ER can suture you up.

On the bright side, you'll have a shiny new scar.

What could go wrong?

ETA: They may be "offering", the problem seems to be "delivering".

If you order one, please let us know the day you order it and then report back in two weeks to see if it actually is delivered. It will be an interesting experiment, I am not willing to gamble my money again.
