Bad Survive! Deserves A Permanent Post In The Hall Of Shame

Anyone want to wager a bet this ends with "So we've decided to start taking on our own heat treating, so your knives are going to be a little more delayed"?

ETA: but don't worry, S!K has already found someone better and more advanced. 🤣 🤣 🤣

"Right after this batch...promise..."

Looks like the comments are not being too sensored for now...it will be interesting to see.

These 3 YouTubers are now spending more time managing comments than ever before I'm sure. Sad thing, they see it as driving traffic. They don't really care about the knife communit like they preach.

So am I reading this right? One of the top heat treat companies anywhere has stopped doing the heat treat for S!K?

I am now officially concerned about the knife I received. Hopefully my K890 was heat treated before they fired him as a customer.

With all the blame he has placed on Peter's, I am surprised that they have not "fired" S!K yet. He is really throwing them under the bus. Has Peter's commented on this publicly? What about Niagara? I cannot imagine that any supplier would want to be associated with S!Ks circus.
My post from 11/2023. Just wanted to pat myself on the back.

Cancel whatever your outstanding order is, then go find literally any other company and buy a knife.
You'll get a knife.
It's not worth the aggravation of trying to get my money back. Shock it up to another lesson learned the hard way. The only other knife I would want would be a Carothers, and they almost impossible to come by too.

It is absolutely worth the aggravation of trying to get your money back...either directly or via the intervention of the credit card company, bank or PayPal.
You paid for something you haven't received. You should be compensated...and...you'd be doing a good thing for others, past and present.

And if you are blown off, you should make it known to the PA Attorney General's Office as well. We are still a nation of laws. (For the time being.)

Fight for your money back, keep it out of theirs as it keeps the scam going.

Worry less about the heat treat and more about the existence of the knife in this timeline.

- Abraham Lincoln, probably.

Speaking of Abe, I wonder if any of the prospective customers will, in the future, refer thusly to the long wait...

Ah hell, what did Guy do now? I wish we could blast this g,b,u post on the front page of everything knife related in the industry just so we could all forget this man and his trash company exists, and maybe "normal" people not actually in the knife community would know to stay away. He'll never get right if he hasn't by now.

There are sooooo many options to choose from at this point. CPK, Busse(kin), Siegle, Dawson, WTG, Creely to name a few off the top... and like a thousand more excellent makers all over this sites exchange alone. It's not hard to find an alternative to this dudes knives.. he didn't reinvent the wheel.. he's not mass producing Excalibur over here. It's a knife.. and from my vantage point an easily replaceable one at that.

You can get better service and arguably a better knife from shops in Nepal angle grinding leaf springs ffs. It's so irritating that more people know about this thieves trash company than 90% of the honest makers here that actually earned and deserve that recognition.

What’s the issue with them?
A good bit actually.. but they're still a country mile ahead of S!K

What’s the issue with them?
Owner has been known to become rather antagonistic if you dare call for support; and blade materials aren’t always what they’re claimed to be. Not as bad as S!K, and yes, you will most likely get your knife in reasonable time. But BRK is second in my list of makers to avoid when looking for a decent fixer. Lots of more reputable and deserving makers out there.
