Bad Survive! Deserves A Permanent Post In The Hall Of Shame

I love all the same YouTubers promoting Reif knives right now. Reif only exists because Guy couldn't work with Millet. More accurately, Guy probably never paid them for their work.

It is quite comical really to see how badly Guy squandered what was a slam dunk of a company.

Now I just hope to see it all burn.

Look, they have mostly caught up, some knives still haven't shipped from 2015 but it's because they are waiting on materials, and their shop burned down, and peters, and magnacut, and George Washington. They are human, but at least they are trying. If you guys just buy a few more ugly betties people from 9 years ago might get their knife. So really it's your fault... yea. It's your fault people haven't gotten their knives.
And Tyler and moving every time an eviction notice came and..

Nothing on YT from Guy or Jon / Heavy Set Tactical. Jon / HST was posting a lot until recently. The comments on the last few posts were littered with questions about his S!K ownership and specifics regarding S!Ks progress. His responses were odd and did not provide a lot of clarification to what is going on with S!K. I really wonder how much longer Jon will be part of the S!K saga. Will he last longer than Tyler? How will Guy trash him after he leaves?

Probably like he did Millit and others, I doubt he knows what he signed up for. Another scapegoat

well, consider my mind blown I received my gso-10 today, debating if I want to throw it on ebay or what since I honestly wrote this off and bought a 3v trail master. It says Idaho made on it which confused me since I thought all those blades were supposedly ruined or still with millit?

After how long? Was it a preorder or ‘in stock’? Just curious. In the big picture, I’d much rather see everyone made whole who paid for a knife gave him an interest-free loan rather than lose out because the place went under.

What year was your order from? I'm also confused why it would say Idaho if they are now located in Pennsylvania. Unless the blades were made a long time ago and they just got around to grinding and finishing them?

Can you post some pics? I'm sure we would all like to see it.

First, I am really happy that you got your knife and did not get ripped off.

That being said, S!K has ALWAYS filled a few orders. Not all the orders, but a few. That is what keeps the scam going.

Ordered in 2016 if I recall correctly, and yes that was my guess too which makes me even more agitated because that means the thing has just been sitting there for god knows how many years.

I agree, honestly just surprised I got anything at all at this point, just unsure why it says Idaho made on there since that would mean the knife sat on a shelf for years before they decided to get around to finishing them.

Guy implied that Millit (sp?) was supposed to make the "big knives," and he fired them because their work did not meet his "standards." The story continues that Guy has been "working" on improving their processes so he could make the "big knives" so that they were up to his "standards." My guess is that Millit, in Idaho, did a substantial portion of the manufacturing for your knife. Based on some of the posts on YT, I would bet that Jon / Heavy Set Tactical did the final assembly of your knife. In one post he said that he was working on the really old orders.

This is all pieced together from videos and comments, mostly made by Guy (who has a difficult relationship with the truth). With that in mind, my comment could all be BS. Regardless, I am glad you finally go the knife you ordered in 2016.

I think they were still in Idaho last year.

And after Guy got the blades back he never paid and cried about them being bad.. except for with all this talk of involving the authorities it's suddenly good enough. It was a coin toss if you got it or it became a Betty for quick sale. Glad you got it.

It’s like an escape room where you have to find all the little parts and pieces and at the end you may get your knife. That you paid for. A long time ago.
