Ha! No. But you already knew that asking the question. Good fun!I wonder if BHQ will be sued for knowingly taking wrongful possession of inventory that is rightfully owned and paid for by previous “creditors”.

They would be accepting stolen property from a company with a questionable record and ownership. I wouldn't be surprised if many of those who are owed knives simply started calling them and demanding they release and return their property. Who owns the knives sold to BHQ, Survive or the customers who have already fully paid for those same items?Ha! No. But you already knew that asking the question. Good fun!
How does he seem to keep getting the shittiest materials on the face of the planet? There seems to always be something wrong with their supplies.
They aren't accepting stolen property. Survive owns the knives. Survive OWES the people who have paid and are waiting a knife or a refund. For example, say I place an order for a new Explorer. There is a delay and it's going to be a few months. I can't go to a different dealer and say hey, Ford owes me an SUV, give that one to me, I consider it stolen because I haven't received mine yet. They would be accepting stolen property from a company with a questionable record and ownership. BHQ would be acting like a pawn dealer who knowingly accepts stolen goods. If I were owed a knife I would just place BHQ on notice of my interest in Survive's assets. The only reason that is not happening formally, through the legal system, is that these are small claims.

If Survive has exceeded the contracted deliverable date and has not returned or offered a refund on a timely basis, they have effectively stolen from the customer. This is not a normal business transaction pending delivery. They aren't accepting stolen property. Survive owns the knives. Survive OWES the people who have paid and are waiting a knife or a refund. I understand that. But someone doesn't get to go to a dealer of theirs and demand a knife. That's what I'm trying to make you understand. ? They made 1000 knives for "the black scout survival youtube guy" and still owe knives to customers who paid in advance years ago?S!K has done two 500 count runs that sell out in hours for him.
They have done the BSS-5 and a 6 for them. Two 500ct runs.? They made 1000 knives for "the black scout survival youtube guy" and still owe knives to customers who paid in advance years ago?
Send in the shills and explain that to me please.
Yep, kinda goes back to what I was saying a few pages ago about people getting to watch as something they paid for was set aside and went unmade in favor of new products because new products means new cash flow, because that felon scumbag and his wife spent all the money from those old orders on their personal bills, eating, vacations, and that dumb hotel building instead of what it was meant for: creating a product. The fact that this guy has undelivered knives from six years ago is hilarious to me.They have done the BSS-5 and a 6 for them. Two 500ct runs.
I figured that were construction material to du with ventilation systems since that walls look unfinished I figured the location is still under construction and building materials could easily be left laying around. The size holes in and the thinness of those sheets fits for some type of duct work and junction box.In the left hand side of the video. Why are they cutting circles if what they're making are knife blanks? That would be a lot of wasted material for no good reason. It might be kydex for sheaths, but even then, seems suspicious. In fact that looks a lot like a blank for a pressed piece of cookware or some other implement. They could be throwing in a free Dutch oven for everybody who's waited but I doubt it. In CNC machining the cutter moves, not the metal. There's no reason not to use every bit of the material possible.
I'm firmly in the "rented set" camp now.
That video is sort of a step in the right direction giving behind the scenes videos could really help their reputation with those who don't believe they have made the turn for better. Showing excuses isn't really better than the excuses they have posted or sent in newsletters it just looks like the boy who cried wolf trying to say look here is a picture of a wolf I'm not lying. They need to do some videos showing successful work to instill confidence that they can do the work.Didn't notice that, good catch. I had to watch the video to see... just a guess, but those might be plates of handle material that they cut to get usable parts of it. Looks like they posted a new video where they show a big plate of messed up linen.... They do make their own handles, he has showed them being made in the past.
Btw, they don't make their own sheaths (not sure who makes them now, but they're very good). In the past, I know Kiah used to make them, but I'm pretty sure he's not anymore. His sheaths were awesome!
The whole hyperbole to prove a point thing isn't helpful. Basically, Survive + BHQ = bad is what he should have said.I understand that. But someone doesn't get to go to a dealer of theirs and demand a knife. That's what I'm trying to make you understand. It's not stolen property.
.............. he waits till a supplier lists it up as an "Ugly Betty" and jumps right on that like a stripper on a pole. How does he seem to keep getting the shittiest materials on the face of the planet? There seems to always be something wrong with their supplies.
An insult to scumbags everywhere…Priced their product too low? How do you figure? Up until VERY recently (and I'm not convinced this isn't still the case), Guy was having every(!) element (!!!) of his friggin' product made by other people!!! Go back and read through the now-closed S?K archived section. Survive?Knives wasn't:
- Cutting or forging their own knives
- Heat treating their own knives
- Making their own sheathes
- Making their own handle scales
Guy is a scumbag who was essentially taking years to bolt parts that other companies made together, and put an edge on it and ship out. Simple as that. So, I'd say they were priced about right for what they were, glorified kit knives.
The number of sackwashers in those old threads talking about how he was such a "perfectionist" and that "takes time" when sharpening a knife on a jig is one of the easiest and quickest things to do, is mindboggling. I don't know how people could be that stupid.
Also, I don't care how many pics of machines they post up, I don't think they're making anything themselves to this day.
This!I doubt they could be sued, who knows.
However, I won’t buy anything from a company that deals with SURVIVE!, I’ll gladly take my money and business elsewhere.
