what is it? other than a frog/toad:p

Hey Phillip. That actually looks like a Cane Toad. Invasive species here in Florida. So no doubt that it's made its way up towards you in Ga. It's toxic to other small animals when ingested. Even when they are tadpoles. I believe they are also classified invasive because they are know to eat smaller tree frogs. They get BIG!

So, If you were thinking......No frog legs tonight!

naw he's not on the menu tonight.

we had all the doors opened in the shop today. i was sitting at my desk writing the thread and i caught movement out of the corner of my eye. he was hopping his way across the front entry

We just had a bout of heavy sleet. There is a frost warning tonight. 32 degrees for our low. My wife and I just finished bringing in all the plants and planters in off of our balcony in the rain. What a PITA.... Spring time in Michigan!!

I finally had a chance to do a little camping over the weekend and tried out my new hammock setup...

Weather was insane - 70 and sun for most of Friday, then storms hit - 40+ mph winds and rain Friday night. Saturday was windy and 50 during the day and 36 and calm at night. Gear all performed well and I stayed dry and warm.

Played around with a few logo shots of some of my gear this time out, wasn't roughing it by any stretch of the imagination...

Sweet! I'm a fan of hammock camping. I use Warbonnet hammocks and tarps.

I picked up this ENO on the way out to the camp site - local camp store had them. I've got a buddy that has a Warbonnet hammock setup and really likes it. He used to bring it on the motorcycle trips all the time.

Phillip! Please! The food pics are killing me. Either post more of them...or get over here and show me how to use this smoker!

I'm looking to get my 1st hammock. I can't wait. Looking at the eno double rest because of my size lol..

Tonight's snack Beef Bacon from my local butcher #kentuckyproud lol all home grown beef and locally slaughtered.

Thanks trestle! Trip was great, I've got a few more picture I'm going to share hopefully tonight. You are right, Feathered Friends makes a mighty fine bag.

As I said on the previous page, I've been working on editing my mule deer hunt from last year. I finished and uploaded it and a few more videos. I'd love to know what you guys think! My hunt that I've linked is actually the 3rd hunt of the season last year, feel free to check out the others. These are my first handful of editing attempts so I can only improve. Still working on getting the channel all set up so you're all getting the first glance at it!

We have a bunch more videos coming down the pipeline. More hunting, fishing, foraging, cooking, and general outdoor stuff. In future videos you'll start seeing knives from Fiddleback, OKT, and WA Surls once I get one!
