The "Whatever" Thread

It`s a balmy +10 in the shop! Took lots of breaks this morning. I just can`t grind with gloves on.
 
I got 5 deg on the thermo right now. Guess it's an okay day to be at work (inside)
 
They are calling for -15 Monday night / Tuesday morning, and that`s without the wind chill!

I may not be in the shop on Monday or Tuesday. It`s supposed to be -15 to -19 in the mornings, and a possible -40 with the wind chill. I`m crazy, but not that crazy!
 
Since it was only 0 in the shop, I heat treated after I took Connie to work. They have employees park at the end of the lot, I figured she did not need to be walking in this weather!
 
Everyone must be in hibernation with the cold weather, no posts since yesterday morning? Maybe renewing was not such a great idea.
 
That did not sound right. What I should have said is there is something possibly in the works that could make me very busy ;)
 
Bought a new Colt Pocketlite XSP, 72 hours are up tomorrow morning. Supposed to be qualifying a group of 11, we'll see how the snow-pocalypse plays into the program.

Connie used to be a big fan of the .380 when she used to shoot. We are supposed to get hit hard with snow overnight and again on Monday.
 
I've been busy with work, put new water pump on my truck, sick kid @ home, Father-in-law is sick, he had one doctor scare him pretty good that something major was wrong, had more test run and saw a specialist two weeks later, luckily he got good news from the specialist, so I haven't been here much.

A good friend of mine has invited me to go with him swamp rabbit hunting in AR, so I'm getting ready for that. Bought new boots as my old one's were no longer waterproof. Got to decide which knife(s) to take, right now planning on packing the Ky Fieldmate.
 
Grinding and shoveling! Shoveled about 5" this morning, expecting 2"-4" more today, and the same thing Tuesday.
