The "Whatever" Thread

Little SwissBuck I found at an estate sale on Friday. Paid $1.50 for it, looks to be unused. I`m not sure if the pouch is correct or not, but knife was in it.

 
Our weekly blizzard started about 10 minutes ago, but it`s supposed to be in the 40`s on Thursday.

 
Getting the blizzard here too, actually got 3 solid hours in the shop yesterday! Cut and profiled out a few blanks, started grinds on one.
 
It does seem just about weekly, doesn't it?

Woke up to tree branches hanging low with ice, now it has changed over to snow/sleet.

Lost power for a couple hours, so I went back to bed.:D
 
Oh and most importantly, my twin daughters started crawling Sunday! They were delivered 6 weeks early, and spent the first 5 weeks of life in incubators. It was rough for a while, but they're both little troopers!

I was a preemie myself & can crawl just fine also.;)

The weird thing is I grew up to be bigger than my older brother too.:confused:
 
It is supposed to be 50 and thunderstorms here tomorrow - it was 46 and sunny when I left work yesterday.

65 and sunny yesterday, 50 and sleet this afternoon, 1" hail & thunderstorms tonight, 1-3" of heavy, wet snow tomorrow morning, sunny and 45 tomorrow afternoon, and sunny 55 on Friday.
must be spring....
 
We are getting that thunderstorm right now. Luckily I think the hail is going to stay south of here.

There was over a foot of snow covering the ground, and quite a bit of it has melted off, but the creek hasn't gone up hardly at all yet. Makes me wonder if we are in for a flash flood once the ground gets saturated.

Nice peaceful rain now. This is the kind of day I enjoy being out in the shop, listening to it on the roof.
 
Sunny and 40's today, but going to get freezing rain tonight and tomorrow. Yay...
 
we got about 3" of rain Wednesday night - the creek I go over on the way to work was up about 3 feet...
heavy rain at work followed by heavy snow - then the sun came out and the breeze freshened up to about 40 MPH - and the roads were mostly dry when I headed home at 5....
today it hit the mid-50's with plenty of fresh breeze, tomorrow I run down to Tulsa for a BBQ fix and to spend the day with Dad and some cousins I don;t get to see often enough.
