sooo, lotta old hickory round here:) if it's any consolation I use a jk in the making of all my projects, timing excess leather, extra wood on the scale blank, removing expoxy after bond etc, I always have the TK handy for it but the Sam Swayback spends a lot of time in the project shed as well.

Um, Pete..the bolster goes on the other end of the handle.:o

Yuk,yuk.

Other than that, nice job man.:thumbup:Is the other wood Osage?

Lucky dog.

Derek will be back in the morning to finish the two knives he made today, I`ll post pictures later tomorrow. We had a fun day (and I got some new design drawings), got two knives ground and heat treated, cut handles and got them gluing on. They will be shaped tomorrow.

I like the use of the copper hardware. It would be interesting to see how that ages...

A BIT OF WHATEVER -

This is fun - She was OK coming out as long as I kept the camera covering my eyes. If she saw my eyes she would used another hole to get past me.

Still trying to get one of her going back in. Takes better timing than I have. See the last photo :)

hey all, if anyone wants the knives I posted recently make me an offer by pm/email II'm all done with 'em, so there for sale/trade :)

We're heading out of here for a week but I should be around pretty much the same, I'm taking the laptop

thanks,

see you soon

Tempting Pete,tempting.
