The "Whatever" Thread

Congratulations, Myke! I hope this job is better than you can imagine.

A word of advice, don't do that dance at your new job.:D:D
Hehe,Lurch dances better than I do so there's no chance I'll be dancing in public.(or private for that matter)

Congratulations, Mykel. I hope its everything you want it to be and more. (And that raise really comes through after 90 days!)

Several years ago the factory I worked at closed and moved all production to China. One family had controlling interest in the company so the CEO, President, and Vice-President were a group of father and sons. All three thought they were better than anyone who worked for them and were quick to flaunt their wealth. Fast forward to this week: I'm grabbing a couple items at the local Wal-Mart and can't believe my eyes. The cashier in the line beside me is one of the sons. I made a point of patting him on the shoulder and saying hello. The look on his face was priceless! I now have to believe in Karma just a little.

we have smart deer in my part of Kansas: while I was out in the near freezing temps putting up with a light mist most of the day, they weren't...

Okay, 2 days down and I gotta say I hope to be able to retire from this new place!
The people are friendly, the work isn't hard, the hours are great, (6:30-3:00) the atmosphere is laid back despite being swamped with work, and the company is generous with pay and quarterly bonuses.(Performance based so slackers need not apply.;))
It pays to be a parts maker for most of the major aircraft manufactures.
I've found my dream job boys!
A bit late, but I'll ride it to the end.......Yeeha!
