GEC has indicated they will do a FULL SIZE EO for us!

Great news!

I do hope we can keep the wide, leaf shaped blade like the one shown in the example though. As far as choice between a punch or lifter, I'd prefer the lifter.

Thanks for the update and for all of your time and effort in this!

I voted sunfish due to strongest possibility of appreciation over time.

I am good for at least one of whatever we decide on.

I hope we can keep a caplifter/screwdriver on the table for a secondary blade for the EO.
I have no harnesses to punch but plenty of beer bottles to open. :D

I voted for the Harness Jack because a punch is useful for many other things as well but a caplifter/screwdriver would be very useful too ;)

Thank you very much for the great jobt. Greatly appreciated.

After picking up the '07 Traditional Forum Knife, I'm excited to see what 2011 will bring.

I put my vote in, I'm a bit of a sucker for the toenail which is not doing so well in the poll right now but that's OK, I definitely plan to order a knife regardless of what eventually wins.

voted easy open jack...I know this is a premature question but how much do these usualy go for? need to start saving ;)

Just an aside Bastid, but what is it about a sunfish that would cause it to appreciate more?

I voted EO jack. I would like one exactly like the Wilbert posted. In my opinion a caplifter or punch would look out of place on the EO. I am in for 2 of whatever pattern is chosen as I do like them all.

Me too. Toe Nails are expensive, and to get a special one under 100, would be great, but it does not seem to be in the cards this year.

We have 161 votes so far. That is good news. I hope it is an indication of how many knives are purchased. I am sure some will buy multiples, and hopefully those will cancel out anyone who backs out.

Has mine been shipped yet? ;) :)

Yup,

I sent it to Austria!;) I am a tad bit concerned. :( They did not know of a place called Oz but they wanted me to send it regardless. :D

Austria ... Australia near enough to Oz
Land of Oz, some Munchin is going to be happy with this knife.

Solid history of the pattern doing so when the knife is well made.

everything that bastid said rings true plus when you want to scare the hell outta your other slipjoints ya get a toenail:D freaking huge!
cheers
