Week-end Post, What Are You Doing

Hopefully putting up one of those portable carports to get my brother's convertible out of my workshop then i can get all the final shaping done before heat treat of my exchange knife
 
trying to work while being sick. be a lot easier if i did not have to blow my nose every 45 seconds
 
Going tomorrow a blues concert at Izmir Hilton.
John Lee Hooker Jr., Sharrie Williams, Eddie Bo and Watermelon Slim will be there :cool::D:thumbup:.
For years I didn't go to any concert. Last one was Blues Brothers concert about 4-5 years ago...

YAAAYYYY, my brother's car is out of my garage... now to re-arrange all the crap in my garage so that I've got space to get work done. Need to get a bunch of work done on my exchange knife now that I'm able to move in my garage =)
 
I shot a little four point on thanksgiving. You know those pictures everybody has of them on a hunt with a fresh kill looking all proud. :rolleyes: Well, I don't have any of those kinds of pictures because I normally take head shots, which makes a pretty bad picture. Well, this deer was facing away from me and put its head down so I shot it from the bottom of the head, out the top, I've never done that before. Now, this is pretty morbid humor, but the yuck factor wore off a long time ago, so I got my brother to take a picture of me with this buck with the entire top of the head gone, I don't know why I found that so funny, nobody else did... I think I'll frame it and see what the wife says about it. :D

So, anyways, I'm packing the beer fridge with venison to age a couple weeks, which means the beer is now in the wife's fridge which means I don't have to go all the way out to the shop to get beer now. :D

Well I got up early this morning been working on all the orders that I need to do before Christmas. Most of the work is finishing work. Its when I can actually set down at the workbench. Most of the work is standing as most of you know. I looked outside and it a cool 17 degrees at least thats whats on the temperature gauge is showing. I cleaned out the wood stove and went and brought in more firewood for the cool day that we are expecting throughout the day and night. :)

Saturday I will be cleaning up the shop and dumping all my dust collectors. Sunday making a Christmas list out for one of my sons. Chris is are youngest and he is the one who has leukemia. Hope you all have a great challenging week-end as me. So, let it react folks and get a handful. :thumbup:

Hope to get most of the rest of my exchange knife done this weekend, figure i should be able to get most of the rest of the work done tomorrow and let the first coat on the handle finish dry while watching the patriots game sunday =P
 
Have a few guys coming over tomorrow and I'll be get the SS canister ready for next weekend.:thumbup:
Going to pawn off the rest of my turkey rice soup on them:eek::eek:. If it is still good??? Hell, I'll give it to them if it isn't good.:D After they have a few beers they won't know the difference till Sunday. HEHEHEHEHEHE!!!

Wasnt thanksgiving like...2 weeks ago? You still eating turkey?:eek: I bet it would quench blades by now if you skim the scum off the top.:D
I am painting the "his and hers" dressers I made for our bedroom. Mine is 10 feet tall so it may take all day.
