Week-end Post, What Are You Doing

The weekends are getting very busy. With the upcoming Marlboro show I'm trying to finish 4 Utility Hunters, along with 6 neckers and 2 slip joints. Then I have to finish up my Pivot Honing tools. MY damn regular job keeps getting in the way.

George...that wouldn't be Coffee Time syrup would it?? Brings back memories of when my Dad used to bring it home.

Saint Patrick's day Parade. It is raining and will be raining hard tomorrow. We will go, rain or shine.
Wet day ahead.

We got the new beds in the room today. Its will be great to get a good night sleep. I also got the shop cleaned back up. We will be going out of th town this week-end as well. It our 25 year Anniversary and wife wants to get out of town. I just hope that bed holds up as good as the new one. Wish me luck --- :D

I would hope after 25 years of marriage you don't need much luck :D ..... don't borrow James' Portagee Butt dog. :barf:

Congrats!!!! to you and for her. To you for finding a great lady, for her for putting up with a knifemaker

Mr. Flame, it is Autocrat Coffee Syrup.:thumbup: I'll be seeing you at the show and will be bring my new student Ron. I have been telling him about your outstanding filework.;):D

Well, for the second time in 42 years, the parade has been canceled.
Of course it is not raining at the time, but the weather folks assure us that it will be pouring soon........Hey, wait a minute.....aren't these the same folks who told us to close the schools and it didn't snow????

I can't say I'm all that saddened. Cold and wet are a bad mix.
Oh, well, I'll get some shop time this afternoon.

Mr Flame? I thought I lost that title last year. Although I am the original, I would be more than willing to give up the title.

I don't know why I said Coffee Time coffee syrup. It was the Autocrat that my Dad used to bring home.

Nope!!! Nathan is Toeburner.;):D They sell the syrup in all the supermarkets around here. Instead of taking a left at the end of RT 140 to come to my house , take a right and Shaw's is 100 yards up on RT 6 on the left. They have it 1/2 gallon jugs. HEHEHEHEHE!!!

It's probably one of those Portugee Butt Sniffer hounds doing what comes natural....

The dawg in question is a 4-yr-old, 92# husky/border collie mix. Looks like a wolf, but gentle as a kitten (mostly). No Portuguese influence, as far as I know. He's scheduled for a grooming next weekend, after which he'll prolly weigh about 72#... the goofball is almost as hairy as MR. Ole Mean Buzzard. He's currently shedding like a Republican candidate losing friends... anyone got a deal on vaccuum-cleaner bags?

Hey now! It's not my dog. Get yer facts straight, brother! :D

Anyway, me and the lil' lady had a fan-damn-tastic time this weekend... she shopped her lil butt off and we had some truly excellent food. If y'all are ever in Appleton, WI and hungry for Italian, get down to Victoria's on College Avenue. Quite honestly, one of the top five BEST meals I've ever had in my life. Seriously! Fratello's in the Fox River Mall was fairly good too, and their on-site microbrews are pretty damn tasty... I liked the Winnebago Wheat best.

The rest of the time was kind of a blur of waiting for my gurl to try clothes on, and lovemakin'... not a bad way to spend an overnight, overall ;)

That's funny. I went to IG's yesterday and before I had left the house, my wife told me not to drink any beer. So what did I do? I bought IG a 30 pack of Bud, keeping my promise to Linda, that's all I drank  :D I'm lying to ya, I had a Red Stripe also.

Hey, J. Turkey!!!!!!
Checkout the pic of my Lil Wolf, he only weights 50#. He sheds like a polar bear. Jaguar is a Keeshond which is in the Arctic Circle Breeds. I was told not the cut his hair, because it also keeps him cool in the summer and it takes the coat two years to grow fully back.;):D

Wa..Wa..Wally, ya, that was a great sandwich , beside hot Italian sausage what else was in it.

We celebrated my Dads 87th B-day at a local Italian restaurant, I had veil parm, yum yum, Linda had lobster ravioli. It was an excellent time with 3 out of 4 sisters and both of my brothers and their wives or husbands as the case may be, but none of the related children and of course my Mom and Dad.

Allot of garlic, hot pepper flakes, oregano, basil, sliced onions, sliced sweet red pepper, tomato sauce and paste and a whole lot of love.:eek::confused::confused:HEHEHEHEHEHE!!!
Forgot the swiss cheese and it was all in a fresh portagee bun.

I'm worried about the "love" and the "portagee bun" portions of this recipe. :barf: :barf:

That picture of lil Wolf is probably what you look like before you put that "just for men" in your hair. All grey and streaky. :barf: :barf:
