Week-end Post, What Are You Doing

I got to replace the front pads on my Quadcab.:mad:Thats if the rain stops.:jerkit::jerkit: I still have to line the laptop forge that I built.;):D
 
Going to try firing up the forge I won at IGs on Saturday (second try, the first was not a success and made it clear that a little rearrangement of the mounting was called for).

Sunday Donna (I hope) and I are going to head down to IGs to pick up a hunk of butternut to mount my post vise on.
 
Was gonna go to Laconia, but I ain't leaving in the rain and it's just too much of a rain chance to just go up for a day. Gotta call my friend Rick, and tell him I won't be meeting him and Jim. He and Jim are already in NY at an antique cycle meet and are riding back to Jim's house today, Jim lives about a 1/2 hour ride from Weir Beach in Laconia.

I have a damascus making session coming up and I need to get my 100# tank filled, it's about 30% full already which is not enough for the amount I plan on making. The local Air/Gas that I usually bring it to only charges by the fill up :barf:, so, Wa..Wa..Wally should call that place near him that charges by the gallon and see how much he's getting a gallon today, ya hear that Wa..Wa..Wally? If it's cheaper, I'll bring the tank up to IG's and get it filled in New Bedford :thumbup:

Tonight, seeing as I cancelled Laconia, I'll be going with Linda, Marleen and Kook to see the Glengarry Bhoys, who are playing in Uxbridge, MA. They are old friends of ours, and it's good to see them kick ass on Celtic music.

Wa..Wa..Wally, I had it filled at Airgas for $55, I don't know the gallon per pound ratio, but I saved the drive to having to meet up with you,,,so I guess if I had to pay $100 :eek: it'd be worth it :D. See ya soon buddy ;)
 
I'll be doing blacksmith demos at the rhode island highland games tomorrow all day long, rain or shine. Going down tonight to unload some of my gear and get the bellows set up before hand and meet with a few other people from the reenactment group.
 
50 People coming over in an hour for the annual Scottish Picnic. Thunderstorms possible, but looking good so far. Got 40X15 feet of tent cover, and a separate tent for the beer and sodas. Food is inside the house. I'll post photos later.

the boy has a baseball tournement this weekend, so far the won the first game, but have to play again at 5, so we'll see what happens.

and ill probably pull an all night'er trying, or should i say struggeling to get into the new shop. i have most stuff moved in, i got to do a bit of wiring, and sorting thru stuff, i hope to be fully operational by the middle of this week.....xx (thats my fingers crossed:p)
 
OK!!!! This weather is really pissing me off.:mad: My garden is bitting the big one.:jerkit: I do not care if it rains or not tomorrow, I'll be cooking steaks on the grill and playing in the fires of my forges.;)
 
IG that sounds like a plan! Pork steaks today, deer meat tomorrow. Mebbe wild turkey Sunday, along with some fresh trout!
I'm gonna go order another tank of propane so I can play all weekend.
 
It's summer time here, and heating up the house is a horrible thing to do, so I run the grill nearly daily for a couple months. We are having bison burgers today, with some homemade lamb sausage.

BBBB Beaver, I only have 3# marinating and I pickup a couple of pound of beef ribs today that's marinating too, I'll be smoking them up tomorrow with my homemade BBQ sauce.:D So I don't know what you are going to eat, because that is just enough meat for me.:eek::eek: HEHEHEHEHE!!!
