What did you rehang today?

Hey, I know you! You're the guy who has sabotaged all my search engine enquiries for "True Temper A17"...I made an oath of vengence that if I ever meet you, I'll kick you square in the nuts!...huh, small world?...I kid,I kid...its nice to meet you... yes, my "A17" stamp looks similar, but it is located just above a "True Temper" logo. I'll try to upload a pic, but I'm kinda technologically challenged.... But, if you wanna message me your address I can stop by and kic...I mean I can email you a pic?

WTF is this gibberish about?

I bet you spent some time on that beauty.

I rehung this a bit ago and I'm posting it now because I'm hoping someone can say who made it and if it's a Maine or Dayton pattern. I've thinned the handle since the last pic.

Red paint and eye ridges would likely be TT Woodslasher.

I actually don't think it has eye ridges. I have 4 other 'slashers and this one's paint is more of an orange than 'slasher red.

The top of the haft looks to me like it could have ridges but I'm sure you can tell better than I can in person. Maker?

This is the E&S cruiser. I hung it on an old ash haft I've had laying around. I thought they were a good match. This steel was the perfect hardness. Scary sharp!
Right after driving the (white birch) wedge home.

I hung this little hatchet for the guy that's been selling me all these axes recently just as a small thank you. I cleaned it and sharpened it too.

Sorry this is unfocused, I had a long day and i forgot to check. This is that 3 pound KP with the poll stamp, I took the handle off the green one i posted in it followed me home and that took Forever to fit on there. The rawhide is there to fix a crack on the handle, it may be replaced with a skillcult style seamless wrap.

Found this pickaroon head at an estate sale for a buck. The handle was a cutoff full size axe handle, I’m sure everyone here has a bucket/pile of them laying around somewhere...

It was just wide enough to fit to the eye and still have a touch of a shoulder to slide up against. For the $1 and 1hr I’ve got into it, I’m thrilled :)

In the few minutes that I’ve actually had to use it at the firewood pile, I can tell how handy it will be to have around!

This is an S&N with no more makers mark. It was faint to begin with and it has the weight stamp so i cleaned it up before hanging it. Stamped #3-1/2 but weighs #3-6.7oz.
A few of the process.
