A light but able knife today - SS single blade Ebony Sow Belly. Headed to town in a few to pickup a prescription for Cindy and Chinese food at our choke and puke, sometimes questionable sanitary conditions, Chinese restaurant but Hey!!! If ya want Chinese, that's the place to go. Skipping breakfast to keep room available in my stomach for diarrhea medicine after eating at the questionable Chinese restaurant. Gotta run - pun intended.

Is that the Sodbuster Jr. size?
I remember they were having problems with the pivot rivet on those for a while. I am not sure, but I think they've fixed the problem.
I don'r remember seeing reports the large size had problems.

By the way, RR/SMKW does stand beind the lifetime warranty.
You should contact them about it.
If the gaps causing the blade play can be shown in photos, you might not even need to return the knife.

I didn't need to return the two Marbles (MR278 and MR409) with a busted mainspring. They sent replacements of the same models.

Thanks for that afishhunter, that's really good to know. The knife is really big for a folder, 4 3/4" when closed, I cannot remember what size model. I will try to find UK distributor and contact them. Great news to hear about the Marbles as well. I remember Marbles and did not think they were still going. I have just bought a knife today, the first in a long, long time. A Marbles sowbelly stockman in D2 and black Micarta. £24 i could not believe it.

Some years ago, Dad gave my son a brand new Buck 102 Woodsman. I liked it so much that I went and bought the 119 Special for trade bait. Now I have both, and a way to remember him.View attachment 2370343
So very, very sorry to read about your son Jeff, any parents worst nightmare. 😢

Bob, your Lloyd is spectacular! Everything is just right, congrats on another stellar custom.

I carried my Buck Yella to the pistol range this morning, but when I got home and opened the mail I had another to fondle and admire, thanks to CJ redoxmusic redoxmusic .

Thanks Jeff. What a great designed knife to be waiting for you. The micarta(?) really makes it.👌

Bob, this reminds me of what I would say to my wife about the little Rat Terrier we had. When the dog got too yappy I’d threaten to sell it to the Vietnamese restaurant up the street. 😛
