Isn’t that a great pattern I really wasn’t expecting to fall in love with mine as much as I did . Although I guess you can say that’s the norm with many enjoyable things in life
The brown dye really did fade fast. It’s must have been acid rain in that puddle.Looks like you washed the brown color off the covers !
Looks nice both ways.
I wonder what was in that mud puddle ?![]()
Echoes from the hills and hollers are still being reported!I keep hearing "Rocky Top" periodically .......... for some reason or another.![]()

Today’s carry is a SAK made for members of the FB group Slipjoint Paradigm.

That Butler is intriguing, Steve! The shape of the handle reminds me of a gunstock pattern (but curvy).

Unfortunately , I broke my calcaneus (heel bone) about a week ago. Today was my first venture out of the house post-surgery, cast and all. This USA Buck 303 Cadet was sitting in the workshop In need of a light cleaning, so I dropped it in the pocket of my Adidas pants on the way out the door.
It should be perfectly capable to do most jobs, but so light and small you don’t notice it in your pocket.
Sending healing vibes out to any of you fellas who’ve had better days.![]()
Fer sure, Gary, totally!Groovy S&M stockman, Jeff!![]()
