You are so lucky. Carried one when I was a young man getting started on my own. Broke the tip of the main blade trying to dig a .22 slug from the bark of a tree.

I didn't realize at the time that those 4 bladers weren't as common as the regular 3 bladed 33OT. Those are hard to find today.

Enjoy.

nice knife! kinda canoe on steroids?
how do you feel it? I've found a few online and have to decide wich one to buy, winterbottom or amber.... (money needed too..)

I have two sunfish and one canoe and except for the dishing out of the canoe they feel and are very similar. I do prefer the sunfish pattern though, and as you can see I use them no matter what.

thanks

canoe D2 queen as usual, just like it and want to see how it performs
dinner was sliced by a CV trapper

Nothing new or fancy for me today. Still carrying the mini copperhead, but had the Fight'n Rooster 4 blade canoe with me too. I haven't carried it in a while and it felt good to carry it again.

I restored this old Remington to a usable state...the broken pen blade I reprofiled, added a swedge and on the opposite side made the remains of the nail nick a little deeper. The main blade I ground a small part of the stop off so it sits deeper in the handle so the tip isn't proud anymore and also tightened the main blade which was a little loose. For a knife that is around 80 years old it is a user again.

It is thin and sits great in my top pocket...lightning sharp too.

Mediterranean Blue Long Tail C Case LARGE Saddlehorn.

A friend heard I was looking for one and got me the LARGE...this thing is like 5-1/2" closed big. Sharp and comfortable but quite a pocketful

Very Nice job on this old Remington, Robert! Isn't it a blast whipping these vintage knives back into shape so they can render additional superior service once again?!. I really love the process of restoring older quality blades like this and then the satisfaction it gives me after I breath new life back into them, and then put them back into good use!

Enjoy her. :)

Best,
Anthony
