What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I agree, I am usually here multiple times per day but have also been really busy as of late. Great knives and pics!

Been carrying the coppersmith the past three days.

Nice Dogs Head, how are you liking it?
Your bolsters look more like mokume than straight copper, is that stocked, or did you custom/mod it? Nice looking knife.

Thank you Mitch, the bolsters are just straight copper. What looks like Mokume is just a reflection I am afraid. That being said, it is a very well made knife by Canal Street for Kabar.

Great pic Gev!

My mind did not understand the photo for a second...very cool and love the ancient ...but you know that!

I sure enjoy my TC Barlow. It's hanging out with an old hand forged fish gig. The gig is probably 80-100 years old.

Chris

Very cool pic, Chris!

Great pic and I will say it again...super knife!

Eric, the dog head is so cool and the copper just makes it special! Thanks for the compliment on my pic!!

Out for a little hike this morning. Carried this Opinel No. 7, a Mora Classic No. 1, and a Bahco Laplander.

Made some breakfast on the trail. Bacon anyone?

I can smell the bacon, Ben! I need to get into some real woods. Thanks for the pics!

really nice knife, what pattern is that?

Thanks so much! It is a swell end jack and in this case it has some embellishment on the top bolster and one could call it a crown jack, although usually the crown is more ornate in older patterns. I welcome any thoughts on that from the masters

This one is speaking to me so much more since I put a satin finish on the bolsters. Thanks for the rust eraser tip Primble!

So these two arrived today and were dropped in my pocket, the 73 and .999 1/4oz round were a surprise from Paulhilborn
Thank you my friend for your generosity and heartfelt gesture. Everything will be carried and well loved. A coincidence since BigBiscuit/Bob and I were just talking about how the 71 and 73 pattern are the exact same knife in dimensions save for the hump and blade shapes.
