Wonderful pictures today everyone, Bighaze, the picture of Brook is PRICELESS!!!
pleasant surprise today as the weather is in the mid 60's. I went to the shop to get my Van ready for my deck season and found my Carhartt over the back of my drivers seat. Rummaged through my pockets and found the Keen Kutter Barlow Mark made and gifted me!!!
Like finding a $100.00 in your pocket after several months but WAY better. Slipped in my pocket asap. Thanks Mark, aka Markesharp...it put a much need big smile on my face brother:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Hope you get healthy ASAP, Mike. Those knives should help; doesn't "TC" stand for "Total Cure"?Some fine carries and photos the past few days. I'm wrapped up in blankets in front of the TV recuperating from a nasty flu, but I've got full pockets

Thanks, Dean; I'm looking forward to some wild weekends when I carry what I feel like!GT, I like your carefree plan for weekend knife carry. I think I'd be carrying the ring-opener a lot.
Frank, it's obvious that you really enjoy the stockman pattern. I'm intrigued by this Case Humpback Stockman to which someone drew my attention a few weeks ago. One of the draws for me is the spear main. Does the spear instead of a clip make it function "unstockmanlike" for you?Case Humpback Stockman in ebony and Tru-Sharp.

Congrats on the new GEC 18, Barrett; that Coyote is a looker! :thumbup:Carried the #47 Viper this morning, then the mailman brought the #18 Coyote, and I've been carrying that this afternoon.

Thanks for the "testimonial", Alan. I've always liked a stockman pattern, and my favorite blade is a spearpoint, so that Humpback stockman really grabs my attention! Thanks GT, I never liked or carried many multi-blade knives, but this Humpback Stockman has totally changed my mind. I'm lovin' it.
Alan
Thanks for the affirmation, Tsar....
Fantastic choices, all! I still haven't come across an Imperial 'pick with a pen like that, so it's always enjoyable when you share yours. I'm a recent convert to the ways of the sowbelly; that is one formidable hunk of knife in the pocket! You also have some impressive stag on hand, and that ring opener is a fascinating little knife.
If I had the pocket space to carry a dozen knives I'm not confident that I'd be able to resist.![]()

I can't blame you for going with the RRs in a lot of cases. The trapper I recently posted about in the RR thread is a serious looker, and the only flaw is a nail-cracking pull on the master which I am currently trying to work out, something that's in no way unique to RR's knives. FYI I checked my green RR canoe and it is indeed a double-spring.
...
I didn't put much thought into today's carry, as I'm still a little starstruck over this big Russell Barlow, so I paired it with a little-carried Case for utility's sake and flew out the door.
Hope everyone is having a great weekend!
Thanks, Primble....
GT - thank you - I think your Buck canoe and the sowbelly would make a nice pairing.
...
Fantastic pair, Robb!:thumbup:Carried this all day Saturday for doing chores around the house. The screwdriver end is great for not having to run to a toolbox every time something needs loosening or tightening!

Of course, now that I have this it's a part of my everyday loadout for the indefinite future:

Thanks, Jack.
Great to see your post today, Bob! That Ohta is outstanding!! Glad you could grab it.
Terrific trio, Harry; I always enjoy seeing your horn-handled TEW Barlows.
Awesome Alox, Tom!
