Great knives everyone!

Nice Vic's Tom and GT.

I going to take the one week challenge so I'm going solo with a Colonial Ranger Stockman today.

Have a good one all!

Always a pleasure to browse this thread. Beautiful slippies one after another one. :)

Me, I have just mostly carried my Sportmesser. It just works for me!

Very nice!!! I picked up a Remington R3843 camp knife over the weekend, which is eerily similar in design. The only difference is in the can opener. I'm guess that maybe both of these knives are based on the same Camillus tooling?

Bob H.Ohta most certainly turns out an impressive knife. That stag....:D I've been really pleased with mine and like yours a great deal too. Another feature I approve of is he gives a very good long blade relative to handle size, and talk about sharp!:eek::thumbup:

Regards, Will

Looks good with those Slant bolsters Jamie:thumbup: Gives a larger knife a sleeker look I feel and something different.

Thanks! Impossible to say for me. Care to share the pic? :)

Well......it was my #1 85 Coco...until about an hour ago when the postman landed the new kid on the block into my mailbox....

At the moment....it's the SFO.....and I think Coco is a bit concerned......

This thread moves so fast it's hard to keep up! Some really beautiful knives here, but Bob, that gunstock is fantastic! Very nice indeed.

There were a couple questions on this knife; it is a 73L pattern from 2011 that I had re-handled in pre-ban elephant ivory. It is actually bark ivory, so must be the tip of the tusk. It tapers beautifully and came out just about as beautiful as I could have hoped. It is sitting on a leather wrapped lead cylinder that weighs about 5 lbs. that I use to hold a leather piece while I'm attempting to carve it. There's another plain one in the background.

The pile side:

It's a gray rainy day here, so I wanted a little color:

One of my favorites, Nature Boy; and that's a good photo of it.

I need to get some shots in better lighting, but here are a couple more.

Good golly, Miss Molly! That is a beautiful knife, Bob. I'll bet that one gets a lot of CF and CE!

Really, really nice knife, Barry. The rendition of that ivory is probably the best I have ever seen.:thumbup:

A lot of leather and tools there. I guess that's where my knife slips were born. :D

I took this quick photo of today's knife in a parking lot. Just as I started snapping the photo a woman got into her van right in front of me. She must have thought I was taking a photo of her as she put her hand up in front of her face. So wrong.

It certainly turned out that way, I had to do some work! :grumpy: ;) Two lovely Sunday choices Mr P
I thought I might take stock of my Stockman knives this week, starting with this Boker. Hope everyone has a good week

Thank you Mr. Jack and a very nice stockman. Hope I did not jinx you on the work ! ;):D

Beauty of a knife !:)

In anticipation for the mailwoman, I'm carrying this 85 HJ today and for the last couple of days.

A fine HJ Jake. :thumbup::)

and some mighty fine gooses I say !!!:thumbup::)

Barry - a beautiful Ivory knife and nice to see the leather master's work place !:)

I got this ole Catt in the mail this morning and it had beige paint specks all over the bone. It took me about three hours to eliminate it. :grumpy:

I see from my pics that I have more work to do. :o

I was hoping from the sale pics that it was dirt, but, one always has to expect paint on an old knife. :o Anyway - it is coming along nicely I guess.
