Thank you very much

That looks like a BIG knife, cool shot

Hope you managed to get all your work done
Got these two with me today

Have a great Sunday everyone
Lovely teardrop, sir. I have one in 6.5 bone stag, making the world's weirdest pairing with a doctor's knife with spatula.

It's a great "elegant carry" but I haven't found myself in many situations demanding elegance as of late.
Everything worked out more or less for the best over the weekend, though I've got some overflow to handle in the upcoming week. All in all, though, I found just enough time to decompress from last week.
I just wanted to repost this pic because it's so cool-looking. This would be a definite contender in the waynorth SFO GAW thread.
Nice Ohta, Bob! I'm heading off to church and tucked the little Robeson in my pocket.
Love the scales on that neat little equal-ender, about how old is it?
The Hawk and the Trapper:
Brooks helped me touch up my Boker before church
I told him it would rust but he didn't believe me
Better not let him get that "taste for carbon". He'll be oiling blades for the rest of his life.
I'd like to have a Willy Wonka day around that shop.
SIGH. Put another Case amber bone pattern in the "must have" list. I'm whipped. Great snap, Brett!
Carrying a Moki Kronos in VG10 and Bone Stag. The fit and finish is beyond "superlative".
That polished bonestag is awesome, Frank! Have you had occasion to touch up the edge on it yet? How well does that VG10 take and hold one?
Awesome warm bone (chestnut?) on that SBJ! Thanks for sharing with the class.
I felt like carrying a belt knife on today's hike, and the recent Camillus 72 thread inspired me to throw that one in the pocket.
The presidential is also with me. I'm trying to show it more love lately.
The bone on that Camillus is outstanding, it looks to be in great shape. I'm also starting to see why the Presidential is such a popular carry on the porch.
pleasant surprise today as the weather is in the mid 60's. I went to the shop to get my Van ready for my deck season and found my Carhartt over the back of my drivers seat. Rummaged through my pockets and found the Keen Kutter Barlow Mark made and gifted me!!!
That's such a great feeling, finding something like that when you're not even looking. It's a real nice Barlow, Paul, definitely suitable for inclusion in the
Red Alert traditionals thread.
Thanks for the affirmation, Tsar.

One of my grandpas used to carry a clip/pen toothpick very similar to that Imperial, so I think it's a really special knife. I saw your Case sowbelly in a thread just yesterday; it's a knockout! I also saw your RR trapper, and I'm nuts about the smooth tobacco bone (that's what the covers are, right?); sorry to hear the pull is so stiff. I've probably had a couple of dozen RRs, and never had anything stiffer than a 7 or 8, I'd estimate. Thanks for checking the canoe; I'm a little disappointed that it WASN'T a single spring, because that would have opened whole new vistas for me if RR was offering single spring canoes!

I haven't seen a lot of Grandaddy Barlows, but most I remember were clip blades; I think that gigantic spear on your Russell is remarkable!
...
Here are a few more of my favorites I grabbed for my first "Can't Wait Weekend".
An Imperial small sodbuster
A Vic Farmer
My big olivewood Joker
A Camillus electrician's knife
I believe the big trapper is indeed "tobacco", it is a dead match for the dogbone jack with the acorn shield. The way I see it, a stiff pull just means the knife has a longer life of opening and closing in front of it.
The big Russell indeed first caught my eye with the spear in place of the usual long clip but when I got my hands on those big slabs of olive drab smooth bone I knew it had found its "forever home".

It was the happiest a new knife had made me feel since I unexpectedly fell in love with the jigged amber Case #75.
You always manage to come up with the coolest Imperials and RRs. This time, the yeller soddie is the surprise. I've never seen one from Imperial, is it one of the Taylors? I may have to run one down.
C'mon, Spring. You can do it.
Bribing spring with the FJ. Interesting tactic. I like it!
Day #1 of my one-traditional
EDC challenge week. They said D2 doesn't easily take a patina, something about some high chrome eeyums or something. I don't know what those chrome eeyums are smokin' but my little Queen took a surprise patina after its first day of serious use. My modern stayed "clipped" the whole day and suddenly the master's got some character, though somehow so did the mark side bolster...
