What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Got it a few hours ago, straight out of the tube and into my pocket!

It's the 100th anniversary of Nathan's Famous Hot Dogs, and I'm watching the Fourth of July hot dog eating contest with a 100 year old Terrier.

Happy Independence Day!

Thanks, Jack! I smile every time I see that rope knife photo - Popeye and a ship for a background.

Thanks Dean :D

Very nice

Wow r8shell, that is a beauty. Sounds like a great way to spend the 4th! When I was young, I had the frame of a garden-rake, and I could eat endlessly. Now, I'm older, and far from rake-like, and yet a regular meal fills me up! What happened?! :D

Pretty spry looking for a 100 year old Rachel. Very nice.:thumbup:

Thanks! The pen blade spring has no snap, but the main blade is as good as a knife half its age. :D

Competitive eating is a young man's game, I'm afraid. :D It has something to do with flexibility, I believe. Joey Chestnut just regained his title as the champ by eating 70 hot dogs and buns in ten minutes!

Good wholesome fun. Now I'm going to open a beer and enjoy one hot dog. Maybe two. :)

Ouch! I think you are right!

The only time I ever did anything like this was as an 18 year old, when I stumbled upon a contest to drink 8 pints of beer from a bucket. I won the contest - first prize was a free pint of beer! :D

Now that is a sign of maturity my friend :)

That beauty looks like it has still got a couple hundred years life left!

I've got an American trio helping on the grill today. Robeson Barlow, Camillus TL-29, and Case Mini Copperhead holding down the fort. Lotsa meat cooked today!

My incredible wife whipped up some from-scratch bbq baked beans (made with only one CUP of Bourbon) and some lovely potato salad to try to balance out the meat fest that I created.

I'm off to sunny Huddersfield in the morning to see ADEE. Going to have a load of recent acquisitions in my bag, and these two in my pockets :)
