Love that one, JOELSM! The covers are excellent!I wish it was still a model that AG Russell currently produced.

What model is that Alox SAK, Mr. Wijbenga? It looks delightfully slender! (How do you like your DMT "diamond credit card"?)
Elegant little Böker, Rachel!...
I can't figure out why Case took that Chestnut CV SBJ out of regular production. I assumed it would be one of their most popular offerings, but I always have to remind myself that we porch-dwellers are only a small fraction of their customer base.
Still carrying the punch stockman, plus this little Boker USA rehandled in ebony by Markesharp:

That's a fine one, Shane!
Both the bread and the knife look delectable, Dschal! :thumbup:Bakin' Helper:

I can sure see why that one could put a spell on you, Jake! :thumbup:I think it's been a few weeks straight now for this one...many jealous knives sleep in the case.

Thanks for noticing, Dean.
I admired r8shell's yesterday, and I'll admire yours today, Frank; great-looking and versatile knife!! :thumbup:This Case punch-stockman in CV and amber bone

Thanks, FBC. Jack is to blame for a lot of good stuff!...
That is a great chestnut bone pair, GT. Thanks for the kind words on the 15. Jack is most certainly to blame for my love of the Lamb Foot pattern.
Have a great weekend everyone!

Thanks, Shawn. Hope your little one is doing better now; nice wood work in her room!...
GT and Combat, those SBJs are just lovely!
...
My baby girl isn't feeling well today and had an unplanned trip to the doctor. Like most days, I'm carrying "her" Peanut, a Bermuda Green Pocket Worn that I bought the day before she was born.

Stunning stag, Harry; that pruner really grabbed my attention today!!
Yowza! That's a ravishing knife, Joel!
Thanks, Ron. I think you're aware of some shenanigans that resulted in my having yet a third member of a Case chestnut jigged bone CV "family"!...
Thanks Gary. That's a nice CV duo you have there!

It's finally time!!!

I can sure relate to your situation, Voltron! I took the easy way out, though, and have been carrying an Alox Electrician, a Case SBJr., and my cell phone all in a little pouch on my belt (there's a little flashlight and a small multi-tool in there too). The past few days I have been carrying my old yellow handled Case Sodbuster Jr. I have left my Victorinox Recruit at home and carried the Soddie for old time's sake. I thought I'd be under tooled, since I find uses for the other tools on a daily basis, but figured, what the heck. I have to admit, I love the feel of the Soddie in my hand. There's something about a well made, single blade pocket knife that just feels......... right. Simple. Minimal. Yet so capable. And the patina'd cv blade tells so many stories. I haven't carried a single blade pocket knife in years, and have grown dependent on all the tools of my SAK. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but man, this little guy right now feels so good. Will be EDCing it for the foreseeable future.
Congrats on the new TJ, Randy!I've been carrying this Texas Jack today it just came in the mailbox this morning I bought it from BigBisquit on the exchange. I was getting ready to freshen up the edge an give it a good cleaning when I took the first picture just because I thought it looked cool the second was to show the knife. Very nice knife and a good example of what Case can do. Thanks for indulging a crazy old man.

Aye, Paul, she's a lovely wee thing indeed!
Congrats on that classy 77 Barlow, TK!!A lovely "new to me" 77 today. Have a great Sunday everyone!

Wow, that looks incredible, Ernie! Any idea how old that OVB might be?It is the weekend so my traditional gets joined by a modern (of course unpictured!) blade. I went with one I just finished cleaning up, a Barlett OVB (our very best) with jigged covers. This is a terrific sized pen at 3.25", and it cleaned up really well:thumbup:Already this morning, I went to cut some tape and immediately grabbed this over the modern...

Thanks, Ron. I think you're aware of some shenanigans that resulted in my having yet a third member of a Case chestnut jigged bone CV "family"!:thumbup: And just this week, I picked up a matching Peanut!!
Congrats on the Vols victory, Ron! Were you among the 157K actually at the track for the game?? What's the knife you chose for kick-off?
