Blowback has been making and selling knives for several years (or longer). I realize that you aren't going to admit that any of us are right, so I'm just going to keep destroying your bad logic. Tell me, all those years....dude still wasn't able to get around to correcting all the dealers, and all the knife blogs, forums, and webpages all proudly proclaiming in glowing praise that his knives are made here? Just didn't get around to it? Didn't have time? Too busy?
LOL Total clownshoes.
What’s the logic here, that because Hoback asked USAmadeblade to sell their knives that it’s the equivalent of lying? Man, the mental gymnastics involved in THAT one…@whitty I believe this gent believes you to be at fault over Blowback's inability to be truthful.
In a civil trial it's preponderance of the evidence, not proof beyond a reasonable doubt. I think there's enough that he might be hoist with his own petard...But...that's for the lawyers to wrangle with, if it actually ever came to that...and for a judge and jury to decide. Civil's not my thing, except when it came to federal seizures pursuant to criminal cases. In a civil trial, or criminal one for that matter, the burden of proof is on the accuser. He would point to the absolute absence of evidence in his motion for summary judgment, which would be granted.
USA made blade. USA made blade. USA made blade. Mental gymnasticsWhat’s the logic here, that because Hoback asked USAmadeblade to sell their knives that it’s the equivalent of lying? Man, the mental gymnastics involved in THAT one…
Yes, I'm familiar with the standard of proof. But since there is NO evidence that Hoback made any false claims, there is no case, period. In a civil trial it's preponderance of the evidence, not proof beyond a reasonable doubt. Regardless, his reputation and character are in serious need of resuscitation...and in this community, that still means something. At least to most.
If you're satisfied with his explanation...more power to you.
Did Hoback tell these dealers his knives were made in the US?
No.
Did the dealers ASK him if they were?
No.
Did they post that the knives were made in the USA anyway?
Yes.
And that's Hoback's fault.
LOL
Right, don't you think USA MADE BLADE should be responsible to check and see if they're misrepresenting the products they're selling? USA MADE BLADE!USA made blade. USA made blade. USA made blade. Mental gymnastics
Imagine watching a video where a dude openly admits to lying and also to allowing his knives to be sold under the America made banner. Profit is a coincidence... right. Talk about mental gymnastics.
You just made that up. You don't know what Jake told every dealer. Stop making things up.Did Hoback tell these dealers his knives were made in the US?
No.
Did the dealers ASK him if they were?

Why is it Hoback's responsibility to copy check the assertions of these dealers? This is ludicrous.Did Hoback correct them? Yes or no?
You'd think a guy with biblical scripture on every knife would have integrity. But the test results say..... that is a lie.Right, don't you think USA MADE BLADE should be responsible to check and see if they're misrepresenting the products they're selling? USA MADE BLADE!
BECAUSE THEY'RE SELLING HI....ok, it's pretty clear that you're a troll at this point. Either that, or your critical thinking skills got left at home and you're out somewhere typing this stuff on your phone. Why is it Hoback's responsibility to copy check the assertions of these dealers? This is ludicrous.
Literally no one is claiming that he told them the knives were made in the USA. Nothing in his materials or on his products makes that claim. You just made that up. You don't know what Jake told every dealer. Stop making things up.
They tell you the COO of each individual component? Really?Unreasonable? 99% of other knife companies do this just fine. Unreasonable![]()
That's right, THEY are selling. As in, it's THEIR store, and it's THEIR claim -- not his claim.BECAUSE THEY'RE SELLING HI....ok, it's pretty clear that you're a troll at this point. Either that, or your critical thinking skills got left at home and you're out somewhere typing this stuff on your phone.
They tell you when the entire knife is made in another country. Which hoback hid for years. Any questions? They tell you the COO of each individual component? Really?
So on his website in his "about us" when he says HE makes knives what does that mean?Literally no one is claiming that he told them the knives were made in the USA. Nothing in his materials or on his products makes that claim.
