When it's not exactly Made in the USA - Hoback

I literally quoted the FTC in a screenshot and there are links with this data. What is a more solid metric.. “nearly all”… or “more than 50%”? I gave an actual standard.. you’re ignoring it because “government procurement and buy American” doesn’t work in your favor. You can play picky choosy, but don’t call me “incorrect”.
Where's the screenshot? Is the forum having an issue? I posted your quote and it didn't show a missing photo. Personally, I linked directly to the FTC website with their standard that merchants must meet to promote their work by claiming it's made in the USA. That's as cut and dry as it comes. The act you're referring to is about federal agencies procuring supplies which, unless Jake Hoback is secretly a major supplier of government knives, has no bearing whatsoever on this conversation as neither he, nor the dealers in question are federal entities.

Why not?

I’ll ask you one more time.. and if you want to continue evasive maneuvers, you go right ahead.

If “made in the USA” is the standard for the government, is it not reasonable to proclaim the product is “made in the USA”?

Touché on that, but I’m also alone. What’s the other team.. 10 deep?
alone....let's see....I count more than just you and even I'm there with ya.....get real pal.

how bout we talk about hoback and his mixing foreign made knives with American made and selling as the same thing to consumers......

If there's something I need to know about, shoot me a PM. Otherwise, I've got lint in my pockets I'm more concerned with.
Carl set him straight, you're good. Just more inane accusations and rambling.

Again, you may try to ask this question as many times as you like, but I've provided a link directly to the FTC as to what's required to meet the standard that they wrote and enforce.

And once again, the 'why not' is because you're bringing up legislation that's completely irrelevant to the conversation at hand because none of the parties are federal entities.

I've provided hard, factual evidence of what the standard is. If you wish to argue against that, you're simply insisting that reality be changed so somehow you're not wrong.

You wanted to stray and now you’re scrambling to get back on point? That’s rich.

Yes let’s talk about how you blame Hoback for what dealers put on their website.

What if I sold Hobacks and wrote “Djibouti” as the COO. If Hoback doesn’t call me and demand I fix it, you’ll criticize them for advertising knives made in Djibouti?

More evasive maneuvers. Surprising.

I'm sensing deliberate ignorance here...

...and that's where I'll draw the line.

I have enjoyed spirited arguments and sparring with attorneys at trial...but this is getting ludicrous. (It wasn't as much fun for them when the verdicts were read.)

Happy hunting, fellas.
I love opposing attorneys who have no facts or law on their side. :)

They always fall back on ad hominem, like "deliberate ignorance."

least we are back on topic....
