When it's not exactly Made in the USA - Hoback

My concern is at the bottom it says, country where the “majority” of the manufacturing process was performed. What is majority?

More than half...by definition.

The FTC link or site actually goes through a lot of scenarios in layman’s terms to show definition. There are a few exceptions and whatnot. It’s a good read and not terribly long.

I will say, there were certainly a cadre of hardcore "I'll keep buying your knives no matter WHERE they're made, Jake!" fanbags swimming around in Jake's IG comments last night, perhaps they'll be up for paying six hundred* plus dollars for the possible Chinese-made Hobacks** still in stock.

* I'm sorry, that is obscene.

** At this point, more like "Probably gonna GoBack for a vendor refund" amirite?
My comment (which was well phrased, devoid of any foul language, yet was biting in my criticism) was deleted...or perhaps just disappeared when hoback blocked me.

Hoback was doing some heavy clean-up and comment deletion on his IG last night, up until he wasn't able to keep up and had to close 'em down.

100% factual. If the retailers hadn't listed the COA as USA, there would be no problem.
Or if hoback came clean years ago instead of "fearing blowback" like he said in his video, we wouldn't be having this conversation, would we? How long did it take for everyone to get the truth once people pitched a stink? He didn't do this out of the goodness of his heart. He did it because of what's happening in this thread.

I think the biggest headache is going to be the warranty/return part of this (and if Hoback is smart he will support it). Is Hoback going to credit dealers for every knife returned for false advertising?

Dude, you are simply hilarious.

I love how you refuse to answer any of the questions I've asked you previously, because you know that a truthful answer will destroy your entire position.
Dude, you're once again avoiding my response to your post and averting to some made up BS instead.

How about responding to the fact that there would be no problem here -- zero -- if the retailers hadn't posted the incorrect COAs?

So where is all the “YOU DON’T KNOW IF IT’S MADE IN CHINA” people at? What excuse do you have now? Would love to hear it. I still don’t know if my Kwaiback I purchased in 2017 is China or US made. It was purchased before he started his “MK” line. Smh I just wanna know where my knife was made. The fact that it’s a good quality knife has NOTHING to do with where it was made. I was told by the dealer it’s a “mid-tech” USA made back in 2017. Still hoping that’s true.

Just assume the worst, man. You'll never know for sure. Either keep enjoying them or sell them at what I'm sure will be a loss. Sucks, I know, but it is what it is.
Oh I know, it was more rhetorical than wanting an answer. It would be nice if he'd get more granular on that particular designation.
