I watched his recent video, 1 tormach amateur ass cnc machine that sucks and he bought a horizontal that I'm not familiar with, that's it. No where near the capacity to pump out knives at any reasonable rate. He just got the horizontal not long ago. Which means he's had 1 crappy tormach for years. I doubt he makes 25% of his stuff. Probably more like 5%.You know what else Hoback can do?
Shop tour time!!!
Let's see it.
I think he might be talking about the light-coloured smudge in the corner. Almost looks like something was there before and has been removed. I guess the implication is Hoback's removing "made in China" stickers off his boxes? I have no idea whether that's true or not but I think that's what he's hinting at.Are you thinking there might be something under that Hoback box label?
Wow… just, wow. The conspiracy theories get wilder.I think he might be talking about the light-coloured smudge in the corner. Almost looks like something was there before and has been removed. The only thing wow is you making a fool of yourself. Again.Wow… just, wow.
Again, not my theory, don't even know if it's the commenter's theory either. Just me guessing at whatever he's implying.Wow… just, wow. The conspiracy theories get wilder.

Which they do. You finding two that aren't does nothing to change that.Yes true, I was just addressing Insipid’s claim that all products had to be individually marked.
Maybe they're the same entity just trying to balance the universe.Do you think that the Phantom Stickerer and the Phantom Unstickerer are allies or mortal enemies?
Exactly, a total qtrmstr move!I watched his recent video, 1 tormach amateur ass cnc machine that sucks and he bought a horizontal that I'm not familiar with, that's it. I stand by what I said. Let's see these 2 defend that. Hoback doesn't make a fraction of the knives that has his name on them. He's a fraud.Exactly, a total qtrmstr move!
I only paid $525 for my A15 Slimline because I was under the impression it was a high-end US production/midtech. Turns out that's one of the models made wholly in China. That would be fine with me if it were advertised (and priced) as such, but not for $525, especially considering the quality I got. Many people, myself included, will pay more for American made (or German, Japan, etc… made). Makers of all sorts of products know this. It’s as much a feature to some as the blade steel. To be disingenuous in portraying the origin and brand on that is a terrible thing to do. It is cowardly and wrong where I come from. For shame.
You guys are being too hard on him. With the equipment he has on hand, he should be able to turn out three, four of these a week...
