I have a solution. Instead of what he's putting on his blades how about this?

Then if you want one you still want one but it's not like he didn't warn you.

He should just ask Civivi if they want to make a Hoback collaboration and just ride off into the sunset.

You can look and see who gave me most of my warning/infractions, back when chiclets were visible I had my share of yellow and red tags. My early 20's especially. I appreciate you both and your easy going ways. The one dude just is a constant problem everywhere. Gets old.

Not everyone shares your opinion of our my benevolent and understanding nature. Just depends on the buttons one chooses to push, and if it's a day ending in a "y".

I'm something of a jokster/hooligan (who would have guessed 😜) who speaks my mind, that can land me in hot water sometimes. You and boru are much more forgiving/understanding than past supers which I certainly benefit from and like I said appreciate. The substance some people bring here is so minimal in comparison to their level of constant trolling that it becomes tiresome. No insult meant for either of you.

Another member recently pointed the following out in this thread, can't remember who or the exact wording so I'll give my spin on it.

The issues you have with a certain group seem to consume you... if they take a pro stance, you immediately take the con stance, if they take the con stance, you immediately take the pro stance.

Does not matter what the subject, issue, etc... whatever, quite honestly it makes you look foolish at times... current thread for example.

You do you and take it for what it's worth but eventually this will be your downfall.

I can see how it might appear as such, but does it not also appear as if certain group notices me posting in a thread and immediately swarms it to contradict me? It is a large team and they permeate the entire forum.. so the chance I run into them (or they choose to “run into me”) is pretty high. I’ll leave it at that.

Why would I? The thread started with, "Wow, looks like Jake Hoback has been lying about the origin of his knives." And then you and your friend decided that was akin to him being lynched and leapt fervently to his defense. Now that it's been revealed that the ground you've been standing on is shakier than Pompeii circa AD 79 you're demanding people provide solutions rather than simply hold Hoback accountable for his deception? He lied, it's his problem. My problem is folks that are insistent on denying the fairly obvious reality that he lied.

Look, insipid. Very LITTLE facts were available at the start of this thread when you and many others started suggesting he was making everything in China, and lying to people about the COO. So because your lucky guess turned out to be correct to SOME extent, you’re going to run victory laps? Spare me. The facts drive the findings.. not your speculative assertions and assumptions. I’m of the opinion you picked China as a COO not because you had evidence of it, but because of the negative connotations such a manufacturing origin drives in the Hoback target audience. Don’t insult my intelligence by pretending your lucky guess was you knowing all along.

You and "they" are like a self-fulfilling prophecy...doomed by mere proximity. If you can't or won't ignore one another by using the software, then do it the old fashioned way by keeping your fingers off the keyboard...for the good of the site, and all that is holy. And the children, of course.

Well unfortunately most people buying their knives probably aren’t on BF or Instagram… so how would they know?
