Oh, sorry… I’m slow

I wouldn't apologize as the more that infamous list gets circulated the better. $625 for a Reate/Bestech Summit? Outrageous.
And the little biblical bits on the knives makes it even MORE maddening and shameful.

Maybe that list should be it's own "Hoback sticky"?

Looks like the dealers will put "China" in small type where they have to and just slowly grind through their current stock and hope for the best. Can't blame them for that I suppose and it's been nice seeing a couple actually post in this thread.

Haven't seen any price reductions on current models and doubt we will as this would punish their customers that already bought (and they're already gonna get at least *some* punishment in the secondary market on a lot of these).

Disheartening but I'm sure glad this thread helped bring this to light. Don't know if we needed 80 pages of a couple guys that want to argue just to argument's sake but I've enjoyed most of it and am appreciative of the outcome :)

Good work gentlemen!

Northwest knives put their entire hoback inventory all on closeout right after this all came out. They mentioned it in a now deleted post on hoback's Facebook group.

Wow now THAT is a hell of a response to this mess. Knock 'em down and move them out... and write him off.

Ok now I have to find something to buy from NW Knives! ;)

Dang, good on Northwest Knives! Close 'em out, get 'em into the hands of folks who are excited about them at more accurate prices, and then -- I hope -- never order another Hoback knife.
Someone tried to scold them for violating MAP terms. They stated it didn’t matter because they weren’t doing business with Hoback in the future.
