Your newest addition:traditionals of course!

Oh man the knives you guys are carrying - but Paul my friend, the latest four you have shown are just STUNNING.

LOVE the Red Bone to bits!
Goes without sayin' about the TC's matey:cool::thumbup:

Dean, I heard it from a good authority it that neither half-whittlers or half-congresses actually exist, only pen knives. This quality of non-existence makes them wonderfully light in the pocket. Hence, half-congresses are favorite (non-)patterns to carry. Mind you your Norfolk looks very nice as well, even if it is a bit bulkier. You should consider reclassifying it, the weight savings are considerable.

Of course you are correct; nothing weighs less than non-existence! :D

GT you're probably right... as usual.

Doc, if you think I'm usually right, would you be willing to talk to my wife?? :p Interesting theory on non-existence and pocket weight! :D:thumbup::D My theory is that people who acquire heavenly half-congresses become positively giddy in their outlook on life!! :D

Love the Railsplitter
Might be dyeing that bone though. Its more wishy washy than I expected.
Congrats on your new railsplitter, meako! That pattern certainly has substantial blades!!

GT Thanks! Your knives from Iberia look very nice indeed, great haul the girl brought:cool:

I was briefly living in Liege Belgium and liked the Martin's various Pale Ales, too bad you can't get them in this part of the EU.:mad:

If you are looking for faux Tortoise, GEC's is the best but RR's is not bad either.

Regards, Will
Thanks, Will. :)

Nice to have these two TC's arrive today. Both 2013 releases, a saddlebrown saw cut Spey and yellow bone Clip...

I'm super excited about this one! Been trying to get ahold of one of these for quite a while, and I've been a little too late for a couple in the exchange, but I managed to snag this one and I couldn't be happier.

Thanks, Paul! That's a beautiful pair of TC's you just picked up, as well!

Latest, this one has Schrade Micarta scales, Mr. Smith purchased the micarta at auction when factory closed. Photo is from his website.

Gary, WONDERFUL bone and Stag on those two!!! & a belated "thank you" as in 're-reading I see I missed your kind comment above in regards to my TC pick up:o

Thanks, Paul. :) I agree with your assessment. The bone on the Chinese Schrade Walden whittler looks even better in person than in my amateur pics and it feels almost as nice as Case pocket-worn bone, and that Marbles stag bone is one of the best examples of "simulated stag" I've seen in terms of jigging pattern and color.

And thanks for the "belated thanks"; I hope those very cool TCs help you to cope with this hot summer! ;) In Michigan, we often get your North Dakota weather a day or two later, and you're currently sending us some pretty hot stuff!!

Very decent Stag on that example! Gratifying to hear it's on active service and not hiding away:D

Thanks, Will

How's the lock up when closed? I have one of his barlows and while it's stunning and the finish is amazing, it is really easy to close when opened. Gorgeous knife.

Currently knife is en route to me, I'll let ya know.

Really glad to see that you were the one to have snagged that one, after you commented on one in another thread. It's nice to see knives find the right owner!

Thanks, Mike! I'm still pretty excited about it. Been looking for one for a while now (in any handle material, but the smooth yellow was the one I really wanted). Glad I could take that particular WTB out of my signature line.
