Sal? 2006? WE (I) love this knife. I had a VG-10 green handle plain edge and I let it get away. This knife would mean a second chance for me, I don't know what it would mean for someone else, but I NEED A SECOND CHANCE.

That would be a totally different subject. Spyderco has a 4" blade proto, but a large model would require a complete engineering cycle, new tooling, the works. If you started a new thread today, built support for it, and Sal gave the go ahead, it would likely be a 2008 model.

Bob, and I, already had some discussions with Sal about this. Sal really likes my version of the 4" with the Green G-10 handles.

I think that a 3" version would be something more people would buy as it would make a good size edc and a longer one would be to appreciate and display or carry on certain ocassions.

As has been stated before by several others, I'd like one no matter what handles are used. It's designed by Lum, made with ZDP, so it's already perfect!
...Hopefully they'll decide to use a compression lock, so I can add one to my collection. I don't want a Para or an ATR...

Just FYI, Sal mentioned the ZDP Lum Chinese in a list of sprint runs for this year, so it appears to be in the works, and not just conjecture at this point.
