About the hate for Survive! Knives.

I sent Survive! several emails over a period of a month or so without response, so I began calling their office. It took me almost 2 months from when I started my request for a refund to the point where they did, in fact, refund me.
2 months of badgering them to finally get a refund. So much for having turned the business around or trying to. It took 2 months because they had to sell a knife to refund the money you paid them.

Interesting piece of wholesale propaganda in a relatively recent issue of Knife News about the liars and thieves at Survive.

Wonder how much they paid for it? I don’t know the current prices for whitewashing…

When Survive first appeared on the scene in 2012, glowing reviews and positive word of mouth made their fixed blades a hot commodity. But enthusiasm outpaced capacity, and before long there were long wait times for orders.
That seems like a really nice way of saying "S!K was happy to take people's money and let them wait".

The resurrected Survive initiated a two-prong approach: soldiering through its backlog and scheduling/producing the next generation of Survive knives. After just over six months of concentrated effort, Seiferd now happily confirms that the legendary backlog is almost done with.
December 8th, 2021 was like 7 months ago, right? so... wouldn't you think a backlog that was "almost done" would be just "done" by now?

“But even customers who had to wait a long time, once they got their knives, seem to have stopped bashing us. Some are even ordering new things.”
Hey OP! this sounds like you!

“There’s gonna be a shotgun blast of new models soon.”
I can't wait to read the sales pitch: "Each S!K carefully put together by hand with a shotgun blast of precision."
This guy's special brand of corporate bullshit is the only thing noteworthy about him.

“We have a quality-oriented culture here, we don’t want to make decisions just for growth. Our first priority is quality...
It'd be nice to read that "customer satisfaction" was his first priority.
But that'd be a lie, right?

They must be hard-up for some articles. Oh well, we know the old saying, "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me".

OMFG. If a company has to create an "10 years of excuses" page on their webpage to justify why they still have not fulfilled orders from 2015, there might be a pretty serious issue with management and the business model.

I have trouble keeping up with all the times that S!K was just about to resolve their issues. About a year ago Shane and Guy made a video claiming that they would be caught up by the end of 2021. That didn't happen. S!K has been "the manufacturer" for over a year. When exactly are the excuses going to stop and the backlog go away?

It really should be called the "10 years of excuses and blaming others" section. Talk about trying to rewrite history. Just shut up and make knives FFS.

Same knife here? It's the same address.....

I don't see that knife on that website, but it looks like the page is pretty old so maybe it just isn't working for me. That is millit's old address, which makes sense since their partnership with survive ruined them.
Millit has a Nampa Id address and a web page.
